The cut between Viggo's giggling to his deadpan "it does seem silly, in retrospect" is so funny to me. It's like when a kid's been called into the principal's office and has to explain to their parents why they were doing something stupid.
I remember getting a splinter in my foot, I didn't know what it was at first but it was very painful and I couldn't put any pressure on it. I realised it was a splinter, took it out and it was tiny. I immediately thought of this and now understand how he felt. Crazy how something so small can be so powerful. That's what she said.
Don't forget the teeth!!! He broke a tooth in Two Towers, and almost kept filming without fixing it, because it was a lot of work to get the set ready to shoot. He went to get it fixed during lunchbreak, because Peter made him. 😂 What a man.
For anyone that hasn't watched the full behind the scenes - these guys literally went through the water to make sure there was nothing dangerous- no glass nothing sharp to steolp on, and it just so happened that he stepped on the piece of glass that they missed.
Viggo is craaazy haha . he seems to have such a love for humour and teasing others. though 😂when I watched these features on the DVD years ago I thought they were massively entertaining then and it's still massively entertaining now I watched the movie with Dom and Billy narrating I was in stitches . Those two are the funniest trio ever !
These guys are such idiots (in the good way) and I love them. Viggo explaing the headbutt thing and then it switches to Orlando shooting going "I still see the white light..."
Some splinters are sooo brutal. I had one in my hand that was close to half an inch. If that. Was fine until sliding it out. Sooo much pain. One on the bottom of your foot would be awful.

i watched "The Prophecy" before Lotr, so for quite a while i couldnt see "Aragorn" when Viggo was on screen. His portrayal of Satan was so creepy and convincing for me, it was hard to get over it.
