The Lore and Recap of Tsukihime Remake 03 - Vampiric Temptations 

I apologize, but I do have to correct something I stated in the video regarding dead apostles. The ability for a dead apostle to sire their own children doesn't come until stage 6, whereas I stated stage 4 vamps could do it. It's an easy mistake considering we don't have many examples of stage 4 vampires to observe in the actual story.

OH SHIT SHE ALMOST WENT RED Yeah... Whether it's bloody rage and insanity (OG Melty's Red Arc) or simply a lack of giving a shit anymore (Type Lumina's Red Arc), Red Arcueid is still fucking terrifying. And she almost went into classic Red mode too, which... yeah.

Ha after seeing how Mario treats Noel I can’t help but thinks that she can get along swimmingly with Jin from blazeblue

Recently went through your whole Tsukihime Let's Play and loved it, the updated CGs and portraits in the remake is such a breath of fresh air . The change in story structure is a little jarring though.

This visual novel has been straight fire so far. The original came out before I was into anime/manga and this makes me wanna go back and watch it to compare them.

So this is only tangentially related to this but recently I learned that Arcuied makes a cameo in the game Vampire the Masquerade, well it’s never stated to be her explicitly, but there is a blonde haired vampire with a white long sleeve shirt and purple granny skirt, she doesn’t give you her name saying only her friends can call her by name, but tells you to call her princess

I haven't experienced any of the Tsukihime/Melty Blood media until Type Lumina came out. Seeing these fights being read in the VN is so fucking cool seeing how perfectly they animated things into the game. Like Noel saving Shiki when he was fighting that shadow? That cut in with her in front of the moon is the same as her Last Arc in game, and was animated perfectly like it was described in text. Then last video, Arc hitting Vlov in the chest and activating his ice mode, which is activated after he loses a round in game?!? That was so fucking good Idk if this comment makes ANY sense, but just know that these videos are 10/10 and hype af to watch

With the far side heriones being in the second game. Hopefully satchin wasn't a side thought with how much arc has a the main event and ciel getting a full rework I may never get an illya route(despite being the better herione) but at least satchin gets a story Also each part has someone in heat for shiki and shiki trying his best to not be a sister slammer

Honestly, Shiki did nothing wrong when he yelled and told to his adopted sister to get off his case, Giving how she a little to bossy and making the mansion, feel more like a prison that mansion.ps I known her reasons why she does it,but the fact still stands.

I gotta say this installment gave some real chills especially when the golden eyes appeared. *UGH* On that not, that Noel individual seems a bit concerning to say the least. The problem with writing based on the concept of supernatural powers making people different from each other is that the difference in question needs a lot more attention for the statement to hold any water. Usually, it does not. Say a person screams in horror because a vampire is drinking blood in front of them. That act is the basis of the concept of vampires: monsters different from regular humans who savagely prosecute humans for their own needs without remorse. Say a person screams in horror because a serial killer is murdering someone in front of them. That act is the basis of the concept of monsters: horrible wretches different from the rest of mankind who can't be understood as they are evil abominations that are not real people. What abilities one has doesn't matter. Some people are genius coders, who can design system to operate all forms of machinery and develop solutions to all kinds of different problems. Some people are great writers, who can give people incredible experiences from which they can derive purpose through the act of living and knowing a history that helps establish them more fully as great individuals. Some people can blow up countries by pressing a button. The difficulty is that while these people may have differences in personality, if you were to sit them down and have them talk to each other, you would recognize them as people. Sure, people who like different things and work in different fields, but you would still see them as people. So what makes serial killers monsters? What makes them, if you were to place them in a group like this, not 'people'? Not only the desire but the willingness to kill and harm others for their own pleasure. That's it. It's simple as that. Vampires, demons, and so on and so forth might do the exact same act differently but in the end the results are the same: corpses. Now, most modern authors don't like simply making monsters who kill and act for pleasure. They think that's too easy and call it 'uninteresting'. But, they also normally don't like the effort it takes to introduce a situation where someone in the story is actually alien in their personality compared to a normal human. That's too hard. So what they'll do is force a normal person into a situation that, usually, is so unbelievably stupid on closer examination it makes no sense. But because the situation forces them to act in ways similar to a monster as I described above, they'll pretend that this makes them a monster! In spite of the fact the loads of regret and the obvious fact none of this is in their control shuts down that idea damn quickly.

Ok, so I started to watch part 3 and suddenly two things appeared to me. First, Akiha, who actually is my favourite character in the novel, is looking much younger and more frail than her original design, which perfectly depicted a young girl who was forced to quickly mature and turn into a proper lady. Her old design, that expression of her eyes were telling you "Despite all the hardships I am a lady and I know it", while her new design is saying "I am a young girl who has to carry a burden on my shoulders, but I am managing". And second, with this remake, maybe Tsukihime anime will finally come into existence.
