Sessions Live Lightning Talks are a series of 3 20-minute talks designed to expose the audience to a deeper dive on three important topics in the discussion around masculinity and performing therapy with men. Sara Nasserzadeh discusses the subjective experience of being a man in various cultures and the way it is expressed. The talk will conclude with some overall takeaways for colleagues so they could work with more cultural proficiency around the concept of masculinity.

Esther, I've read all your books and I appreciate what you are trying to do but having mostly women talk about what it's like to be and what it means to be a man, is pretty silly.

oh common... read literature, the big classics, all written by men describing women's feelings and behavior through ages! and women having to endure how men shaped a public understanding of our feelings and actions, just because female voices on the media were simply not allowed. I think as a modern man you can be brave enough to endure the other side's gaze for a video or two, and besides, there are male voices in this panel, you just have to be curious enough to click on the video with men talking in it...

"Around" the "concept"? Not "with" "the fact of"?! 12:44 In the past 10 years or more the increase of anti-depressant and contraception (to facilitate casual sex, polyamory, etc.) runs concurrent with learning so many reasons why women "lose desire" that reasons for men to believe female desire actually exists have declined. Now we're believing sex isn't about attraction so much as novelty. An alternative to or filler between NetFlix series, job changes, disappointments, etc.

very poorly edited/presented. The graphics shots are so short that they cannot be read. Too much long shot /distance with no value. Voice can be presented over graphics to be more effective
