I don't know if it is the most bizarre ever but it doesn't make sense to me. Giddey is a young player who is only going to get better. Caruso doesn't add anything I can see.

Giddey will average damn near a triple double for Chicago if he gets around 35 minutes per game. In his 2nd season with OKC he averaged 17/6/8 in only 31 minutes. To put that into perspective in Harden's last season with OKC he averaged 17/4/4 in 31 minutes. This is the type of player OKC just foolishly traded. This trade will go down with the Harden trade as one of the stupidest GM Sam Presti has ever done. Caruso isn't even as good as Wiggin and Hayward who the Thunder already have and they didn't need another wing player.

@@BurnerTalk 2 years ago Giddey averaged 17/6/8 in only 31 minutes per game. He is a true point guard much in the fabric of Magic. This is a truly colossal blunder by OKC getting rid of him for a lower tier wing player who provides zero offense. Giddey is capable of averaging almost a triple double if given 35 minutes.
