IF only Japan was like Philippines back then because at that time there was still the death penalty in the Philippines. I remember the case where three men raped an actress and burned her nipples with a cigarette. The three were caught and charged with the death penalty.
One of the killers literally has a Twitter account where he just casually posts stuff and also keeps playing the victim by saying people judge him too much over a shameful crime in his youth. He gets harassed and threatened by thousands of people daily, and some people have told him if he ever lefts Japan or if they encounter him in Japan they'll harm him.

I'm sure there are several articles that mention such things. However, if the assailant's mother had really done that in the first place, she would have been arrested for criminal damage to property at the time. However, no such reports or records could be confirmed. Therefore, I don't think there is any solid evidence to support that she vandalized Junko's grave. Therefore, I accept the story that Junko's grave was vandalized by the assailant's mother as nothing more than a rumor of unknown authenticity.

I hate the justice system in Japan. It doesn't serve the purpose of justice. Even if they had a "rehabilitation" system, it still doesn't help in this case for the extreme, horrific crime that has been committed. The first time I heard about her case I was literally crying and couldn't stop thinking about her for a straight week. The fact that they are free roaming on earth and breathing the same air as me is blood boiling.

For example: The Beast of Columbia murderer (i forgot his name). The murderer experienced severe abuse during his CHILDHOOD. (emphasis on childhood) Of course, this doesn’t excuse their actions, but the parents aren’t in the clear either. Most monsters aren’t born like that, they’re moulded into it. Generally, I, a minor, shouldn’t be the one to explain to 20-50 year olds how to parent their children. Teach your kids basic human respect! It isn’t that hard!

I remember watching a movie based off it back in 2020 and i was curious because it said it was based of a real crime, I will never do that again. It’s so disgusting and brutal that a young beautiful girl with a beautiful life was taken away from these horrible disgusting boys. They wanted nothing to do with her but played around with her like she was some s*x toy. If they were EVER in America, there would be a HIGHLY chance that they would have a life sentence. The part that's even worse for me is that Junko actually wanted to keep living. You can clearly see that most people would not handle such gruesome torture as well as Junko. Most people would prolly die at the part where junko had lighter fluid poured over her. But Junko kept pushing onwards and actually tried to escape. But once she was caught she realised that there was no point in fighting back anymore and just gave in and asked to die. The fact that she went through all of this even in new years saddens me.

I’ve been watching all type of cases and true crimes since i was like 9?? And this by far is the most gruesome stomach wrenching case, some of the murders, bullying and abuse that happens in japan are on a whole different level of insanity, i feel so bad for her poor soul and the victims alike..
When 7:50 said she was held captive for 42 days, this case rung a bell - I think I had come across a video about this case some years ago, and it was too much for me to handle. Now here I am. Still really fucked up but I now know more and can watch a video on this case. It's not like "the more cases I hear about, the less I feel" because I'm still in shock and disgust at how other humans can do this to each other and if anything, with each case, the feeling just gets worse.

This makes me so fucking pissed. My dad got sentenced 15 years only ahout a year ago. He got way more time than someone of these people did, and all my dad did was drugs. He didnt even do anything that bad
