So basically... And He meant that Literally I mean Same goes for both Without Lupin, Zenigata wouldn't be able to keep up the job much as exciting and Lupin it will only just be people who want to kill him instead of arrested
Can imagine if Lupin committed a heist that required literally going to hell but had no idea how he was going to escape and so he relied entirely on that Zenigata's sheer will to arrest him that Pops would literally walk to hell and back to arrest him.
Lupin crosses over with Devil May Cry. The gang hires Dante to cover their heist of an ancient Gemstone, and Zenigata crosses paths with Vergil, the only man in existence that can match his MOTIVATION!!!!!
God now all I can think about is that years later after they all die. Lupin and the gang would be planning a heist during the purge only for them to hear "I got you now Lupin" and just seeing a angle Zenigata flying strait at them.
The best part is that he _has_ caught him before, but he couldn't stomach the idea of seeing Lupin get executed, and secretly hoped that he would escape somehow. Dude literally just wants to chase him around the planet forever rather than actually bring him to justice lmao.
I meant, despite it's not strange that Zenigata and Lupin actually respect each other,Zenigata definitely would still get angry remember the smartass from the thief For that Pops is impossible to rest in peace, but rise with rage XD
I like to imagine Zenigata’s spirit ascends to the great beyond. He’s there at the pearly gates, about to enter into an eternity of peace, reunited with all those he’s lost over the years. Just as he places his foot down, he hears it. In the distance, a faint voice. Then, a name. “Lupin” His spirit is jerked backwards and flung out of Heaven, plummeting towards earth at mach speeds before it crashes back into his body and his eyes snap open. His job is not yet done.
Thanos: *snaps his fingers* Zenigata: *starts turning into dust* Someone nearby: *meantion Lupin* Zenigata, regaining his shape out of sheer willpower: *"LUPIN!?!?!"*
@@annoying_HK_guy Honestly, I could see it. Thanos does the snap but nothing happens. Cue Lupin walking away with all of the stones, laughing like a maniac.
Imagine Pops gets literally blown to chunks I like to think that if someone were to mention Lupin all the pieces would literally crawl back together until he's revived out of sheer determination
Does this mean that Pops is virtually immortal? All you have to do is invoke the name "Lupin" in his presence and he can overcome *DEATH ITSELF.* *MOST OP ANIME CHARACTER. EVER.*
At this point I pretty much think of Zenigata as immortal as long as Lupin is still alive... and Lupin is just immortal in general so that's never happening
God: Zenigata, you were a fenomenal man who strived to uphold the law. Zenigata: So...is it over? This is the end? God: Yes, my son. You did you best, your work has not been in vain. Zenigata, you have earned your eternal rest. Zenigata: But...I can't seem to shake the feeling that I forgot to do something. *Faintly in a corner*: We will catch Lupin for you, Zenigata! Zenigata: Wait,...what was that! God: Nothing, that was nothing, just get through the gate and forget about Lupin already!...oh shit. Zenigata:...LUPIIIIIIIIIIN! God: Damn you Lupin! You even steal my souls!
You know I find it funny that when he’s calm pops actually manages to look pretty cool and intimidating but unfortunately he’s constantly emoting like a muppet and people are put off by muppet emotions
As he drifted into the abyss, a faint light shown, as he walked toward it, it grew. It became more apparent, more vibrant, more welcoming. In it, stood Zenigata Heiji. The inspectors moved closer to one another. The ancestor smiled as he put a hand on his descendant's shoulder. "I'm so proud of you." He murmurs "...but, you must catch Lupin III. You still have business on Earth." It was then that Koichi Zenigata sprinted the other direction, now filled with vigor. His ancestor was right. He still had a purpose, leading him to the land of the living.
Even Goku (an op alien who last time I checked has fought gods) needed magic balls to revive, meanwhile Zenigata who is a mortal human being immediately snapped back to life by sheer determination to catch his rival.
Yeah I know. I just prefer calling it Walther P38 for some reason a psychoanalyst could explain because I sure don't know why I do. Also that is some real nice sounding German.
@@chloetolp6177 I just hope it's grammatically accurate. Any German speakers out there to check? Though for the record, technically it counts as a real title since it shows up on the title screen.
Wait we have this movie in German?! I thought in Germany we had only the Detective Conan Specials, Castle of cagliostro, dragon of doom, voyage to danger, the pursuit of Harimaos treasure, the secret of Twilight Gemini and the Koike Movies! And the first this Oktober 26th And yeah it's grammatically accurate
@@Guilty-Gearer-Does-Things The Wolf from Puss in Boots: The Last Wish won’t like that at all… be the aforementioned laughter be from Zenigata… or Lupin!
@@Guilty-Gearer-Does-Things But not for long… the Wolf being Death personified, fans believe that he has teleportation powers, to reap the dying souls, or his target individual like how he hunted Puss, but preferred to hunt and fight in an honorable manner, but I bet he will fight dirty if Lupin continues to be irritating and disrespectful.
Zenigata waking up from dying is really funny, but my favorite part is when he grabs the doctor and starts stretching and pulling on his face, so damn funny XD
Fun fact the episode in Japan is called: In memory of the Walther p38 Which is also the same type of gun used in the show: the man from U.N.C.L.E And the same gun transformers G1 Megatron turns into
@@caydehunter1009 That is worthy fanfic crossover fuel. An anonymous employer asks Lupin and company to steal a jewel and some advanced technology and grants Lupin a Walther P38 with a scope for the job, but what Lupin doesn’t know, is that handgun is actually Megatron to claim the goods and kill Lupin and company and Fujiko too if necessary.
I kinda hope the next movie centers on Zenigata. I like the idea of a criminal despising him because Zenigata destroyed his operation in the midst of chasing Lupin and is outraged at being considered a "Stepping Stone" compared to Lupin. so he arranges for Zenigata to be framed for a crime and then killed after being completely disgraced. So Lupin has to save Pops, since if he's gone thieving just won't be the same.
Just watched the latest movie and I swear that this man has the ability to appear whenever someone says lupins name or when said thief breathes in a certain direction
Zenigata's actually caught Lupin a couple of times. I think three times, but twice for sure. It's not his fault Lupin keeps escaping the incompetent prisons >:D
I've been going through the whole franchise over the last year and Zenigata has caught Lupin MUCH more than three times. It doesn't happen much now but in Parts 1/2/3 it happened a few times (per part) and it's happened in some specials. Though a lot of those times Lupin got caught on purpose and Lupin usually escapes before even getting to the incompetent prisons.
@@chloetolp6177 Yeah, I don't count the caught-on-purpose ones. The occasions that spring to my mind are the first time in episode 5 or so of TV season 1, the episode in season 4 where he gets imprisoned in a solitary cell on an island, and I'm positive he was successfully nabbed in one of the TV specials, though I don't remember how or which one. It always bugs me when Zenigata gets looked down on by his police peers. The poor guy is literally aiming for the #1 criminal mastermind in the world and occasionally succeeds. They scoff but they can't even approach the league he plays in.
@@Conan_the_Based Yeah Zenigata does so much impossible stuff while chasing after Lupin that it's clear that any other criminal would be caught almost immediately if he went after them. The guy has literally abandoned any chance at a normal life to catch one person and everyone makes fun of him. Plus the amount of other major criminals Zenigata has caught while going after Lupin is way too much to say he's bad at his job (even if Lupin helped him with most of them).
@@Guilty-Gearer-Does-Things Thought you could escape me by hiding in the RU-vid comment section, huh?! Well too bad! This time I'm one step ahead of you! Now, are you gonna come quietly?!
Imagine Zenigata in Pixar's Soul as one of 22's many mentors. 22: So, you're really okay with Lupin the III getting away? Zenigata: LUPIN!!!!!!!! *revives, disappears* 22: Huh. *shrug*
Fun Fact: The voice of Zenigata is Goro Naya, the voice of the Great Leader and the dubbing voice of Lee van Cleef, John Cleese, Sam Eagle and Alec Guiness.
Okay but zenigata was extremely handsome in this one. Like dang he looks hot Heck the 90s specials made zenigata look the most handsome. even if they did give him a wrench for a chin a couple of times
Ik how everyone is taking about how zenigata came back from the dead, but is nobody gonna talk about the scientist who had his face stretched like super Mario 64?
