The pizza here is the best i've ever had. They dont have menu as they are omakase based, the chef will ask you for any allergens or preference and tailor make the pizza for you. Really a must try if in Langkawi!
These are highly cultured people making excellent pizzas with such finesse. Each ingredient is fully thought after and featuring local ingredients whenever they can. We need more of these in Malaysia
What a hidden gem in a mountain. I like nature, I like Pizza and I like Raining. Everything is so goooooood here. Thanks Ichang for introduce this ‘dragon ball’ to us.
Thanks iChang for recommending this pizza place. Napolean pizza is so RARE to find in Malaysia and for many Malaysians, we only know American pizza (e.g., Domino / Pizza Hut version) or the thin crust version of pizza (like iChang, I just couldn't find myself liking it). Ever since I tried award-winning authentic Napolean pizza made by Italians in Hong Kong, I went high and low to find it in KL/Selangor but the quality has been far from satisfying. I tried two pizza shops in the heart of KL and another one in Bangsar but they didn't get their dough texture right. They either have too many burn spots on the pizza ring or it is too chewy as if it is a chewing gum that won't break. I hope iChang's video kicks start a new way for Malaysians to understand that there's such a thing called a "Napolean-style pizza", and hopefully we have amazing chefs that can level the field of pizza-making in Malaysia. We need good Italian pizza here in Malaysia.
You are right, I was married to a swiss Italian from the South of Switzerland since 1982, my late husband used to hate eating pizza in Asia. I had to learned how to make pizza the way he like it. When. ever we invite our Malaysian family and friends, I can tell they were not liking it they way they get at pizza hut ....ohhhh well.
I hate standard take-away pizza - like iChang said its either too crispy or too bread-like and not remotely like a proper pizza should be. I lived the look of this especially with salad on top - 😋 😊
My fav pizza here is the 4 cheese and honey comb pizza. Totally recommend to try this pizza. The price is RM68 the last time I went there in sept 2023.
Wow the pizza restaurant looks amazing! And there’s no better combo than blue cheese and honeycomb…I’m literally salivating 😋😋 DRAGONBALL unleashed!! ☄️⚡️
Its not just the blue cheese. The best mozzarella is made from water buffalo milk. They rear water buffaloes, milk them and make mozzarella fresh right there in Langkawi.
Small house selling very cheap homemade sushi, run by a sweet old Japanese couple. At the front and center is a sweet 70+ years old Japanese Muslim lady named Masako @ Zanita, who gave us an excellent service while treating customers like family. Sushi was decent but for a cheap price like that, its good enough. But Auntie Masako herself was so sweet and friendly. Must try if you still in Langkawi
I’m so happy for you guys - you two fit the Malaysian lifestyle perfectly and you both are more intimate and comfortable with the local culture with every step of the way
Another hidden treasure unveilled. Pizza in a remote jungle? But Langkawi is so far away. Dont know when I can be there. Thanks iChang/Jimmy for the info.❤❤
Looks so delicious. We can see just how soft the dough is. The presentation is beautiful. And the chef eloquently explained everything. And the best part is seeing Ichang and Jimmy enjoying the pizzas. 🥰 1 million points 🥰🤩
I love this episode sooooo much! Love the story, the passion, the pure delight, the enjoyment of something so decadent~~ thxxx for always showing the best our country has to offer! 🙏🏼🙏🏼🧀🧀💛💛
As usual Ichang will find hidden germ in Malaysia no matter where it is...tq Ichang without you we would never knew the existence of this place even for Malaysian like us
Usually a pizza shop like this is only focused on making authentic Italian pizza using fresh ingredient. I dont think they would add fusion pizza variation like sambal into their menu. So yeah you better off looking elsewhere.
That looks soooo delicious! Ichang and Jimmy, have you tried that Japanese muslim aunty who sells sushi in a tiny shop? I forgot where she is in langkawi, but maybe you can try her sushi, support, and maybe have a chat with her, she seems lovely like both of you ❤
Wow the care and dedication into making this pizza is amazing. Just like your dedication in making this video and sharing it with us malaysians. Thanks a lot ichang team ❤
Hontoni Oishiso~ Wow thank for the amazing trip, again. This food and experience looks very close to nature. From the fresh ingredients to the sharp buzzing sound of cicadas. Will definitely go there next time I visit Langkawi.
Don't worry about the noise from the rain. Looking at both your facial expressions, we can already understand. Jimmy become speechless after the first bite 😂😂
All the more reason for me to add this into the to-have list of food in Langkawi!! I love pizza and this Neapolitan omakase style is just PERFECT! The last I had a Neapolitan one was at ROUND Happy Mansion. That Four cheese with brown better cashew and honeycomb one is the one I will gun for the most!
i wish someday when i retired, can stay in an island and open a small restaurant like this, looking at the mountain, looking at the sea.... hopefully dream come true...
The place has great vibes and excellent playlist. I heard Khruangbin in the background when you was ordering the 1st pizza. Both pizzas look delicious. Thank you for this another great content.
We Chinese got a word say Content is Happiness! I can feel that and I love to watch your videos because you both no matter what also say thanks and feel great!
Jimmy likes everything cheese so this is a real treat. I watched a food show featuring this Pizza place so it's nice to see it getting more exposure. The chef looks like he is very passionate about the food especially the cheeses. Will definitely look for it if I'm in Langkawi.
Such a wonderful experience!!! You both have unleashed the best dragon ball and soon Pizza Hill will become a full grown dragon. Who's the chef/owner? The place is such a long way and maybe recommend building a place to stay in for the night?
The issue about Langkawi is quite controversial lately..but Ichang & Jimmy chose to be the ambassador and promote what is a 'hidden gem' in Langkawi..this pizza shop for sure will be one of my bucket list when I'm going to visit Langkawi..Thanks to Ichang & Jimmy for recommending this "Dragon balls".. PS~ it's been a while since I saw Jimmy 'hamsap' face😂😂😂
I always like to support and try these food made by Chefs with passion. Always love to see how much thoughts they put into making their dish. You can tell that he cares the every detail goes into the pizza. My only request would be not the burnt sides - not many but haha I don't like those burnt sides.
Its good that how u guys promote LANGKAWI..as media published the bad review bout LANGKAWI now..🤔🤔🤔🥴🥴🥴..I love langkawi the island fulls of LOVE from locals..need to come back again n try this great PIZZA..Ty for the great catch up..🙏💞🤗🥰😎🏊♀️💏
@@hawaandroid2786 no wonder la 😅 but to think again, if they eat at gourmet of course la expensive. We went there few years back just eat at kampung area, very cheap for a tourists island. And surprisingly all the shops that we stumbled upon are delicious with cheap price. Even kedawang market offers interesting choices. Why la they so busuk hati.
