@Dravelen Hawk The best way to train to be better at something is to do that thing. Running 2 miles with shorts and a shirt will make you the best at running 2 miles with shorts and a shirt. Running 800m with combat loadout will make you better at running 800m with combat loadout. Sure, there is carryover, but this is still true. If running 800m with combat loadout is more realistic to war, why not test that? Difficulty doesn't only come from distance, but also from intensity.
