I know a cousin who was squatting with his wife and kids in another cousins guest room for 2years today he owns multimillion dollar clinics and properties just 13 years later in the same Texas. Your story will be better than that by His Grace

Superb interview as always by Teju Babyface with Femi Brainard, accomplished actor and communicator. Liked Femi's relaxed style as he kept it 100% real, not allowing any (Yoruba) "omo ni'bi ni'ran" nonsense to hold him back from getting on with the job at hand. Kudos! Naija may not be as rosy as we desire but I still believe a star actor like Femi had better opportunities here than abroad. For the children's sake, he could have relocated the family and then return later to continue his acting profession. For a top actor, there is the opportunity for brand ambassadorship for significant additional income. And who says he couldn't have risen to producing his own movies? A man's life requires constant appraisal and reappraisal to ensure one is taking the right steps. Perhaps there is more to his situation than he has revealed. I wish him the very best sha.

This life is really the more you look, the less you see. We looked at and admired these stars from far as they owned our screens. I have forgotten the title of the TV series on AIT (around 2000-2002) wherein he was part of a crime-fighting force. I could say the same for Wale Sango Adebayo when he did the Super Story series around 2004/2005 alongside Elvis Chuks and Kehinde Bankole. Little did we know that they were really fighting for survival and trying to make ends meet. Happy for those who made it out and are reaping the fruits of their efforts.
Till date, I still tell people that responding to greetings is a stress for me. so regardless of if you greet me or not, I am NOT bordered. Femi you are right no one owes other greetings.
Moluwe buses can be reinvented to curb transportation deficit in the country. It will be upgraded with high-quality materials that will be cheaper to maintain. It should be 100% made in Nigeria. I believe femi would have been really successful and more fulfilled assuming he remained in Nigeria, he would have done better than he is today. Its painful, People has really lost hope on Nigeria and they don't even mind loosing every good thing about their life in Nigeria which includes their purpose, dreams and what God called them to be in the name of greener pasture. We prefer to lose every good thing about us in a place God has originally created us to be and prefer to slave for the white in a foreign land cos i believe their are limits a black can get to. A well lived life isn't defined by materialism or wealth but its defined by the extent at which you've fulfilled the reason why you were in existence.

There are many other ways of doing a pose rather than at the back or front of the person , Teju hope you understand. Also Femi has added a lot oh. He looked better not too big but he still looks great though.
This was suppose to be one of the very best episodes considering the Guest you interviewed (FB) and also his story which unfortunately is that of most immigrants. However, being an immigrant myself living in Canada, i will submit that its one of your worst episodes so far. Just like a comedian on a comedy show, Your punchlines are what you use in capturing your audience and keep them yearning for more.. Your Guest starts a story line on a high and by the time we the audience are caught up and looking forward to where and how the story ended, he picks up another story along the way. Another thing i noticed was that, even with the microphone in front of him, he appears to be whispering all through the interview, i had to increase the volume tab on my laptop to 80% to hear him well. I have watched some of your episodes like three or four times because of how the Guest delivered on each issue he/she spoke about e.g. Mark Angel and Joseph Benjamin to mention a few. Simply put that this FB interview was just a thank you role call to all those that helped him settled quickly in the US period! I love his acting by the way.
Good job I couldn’t even finish watching this episode. I tried forcing it but the guy was just giving me negative vibes I just had to stop wasting my time and data.
I was so bored with this episode and the angles FB kept getting into. .... he refused to be vulnerable about his true experience. Kept putting Nigeria down.The comment section was way more interesting. 😅😅😅
Thank you Teju for the good work that you do. I struggled but just couldn’t resist the urge to comment on this episode of your interviews. Good to see bros again after a very long time and a lot has been learnt from this interview, as with all other interviews that you grant. However, bros needs to work on how he answers questions. I particularly do not like that he disclosed the current locations of his colleagues. People might prefer to do so themselves whenever they wish; and I feel like you should have cut out that part unless of course permission has been granted by those concerned. Overall, bros deflected a lot even when you tried on so many occasions to bring him back.

Femi was a good actor but he let himself be used for minor roles for too long eg MOST WANTED, FELONY ,OMOLARA JOHNSON. Just to name a few. I always like him and FEMI BRANCH.(maybe I'm FEMI) IF I knew he was in MD US.(where I have lived for 46 years. I hope he is doing well. GOOD LUCK TOO TEJU .
