Previous month I managed to withdraw my first five figure paycheck ever!!! I've been working for this company on the web for 2 yrs now and I never been happier... They are paying me $95 per hour, and the most desirable thing regarding this is that I am not that tech-savvy, they only required standard insight into internet and basic typing skill...Awesome thing about this work is the more time I got with my kids. I am able to devote quality time with my relatives and buddies and take care of my children and also going on holiday vacation along with them very consistently. Don't neglect this opportunity and try to respond rapidly. Here is what I do *worth48.com*
@@PaulG.369 CVT is a fake manual LOL. And the manual has the rugged durability that the CVT does not have. And the real truth is how well you treat your vehicle while you drive. And care for its maintenance.
Thank you, thank you...for educating people out their that if they don’t buy manual transmissions that they will go away. We are already seeing that in the motorcycle industry.
You actually did not disable TC/VSC. Just pressing the button does not disable it and that is why at first it was sluggish when you mashed the gas. Honda literally does not want you to disable it. This is true with all new Civics including Si (excludes Type-R). You start the car, hold down the break, turn off turn on TC, engage parking break, lift foot of break, turn off turn on TC, and finally while the parking break is still engaged, press down on the break and turn off turn on TC and then it will flash. The flashing lets you know that TC/VSC is disabled. Now you can mash on the gas or do peel outs.
The SI is the perfect visual imop. Not as radical as the Type R.....a little more than the "Sport" I LOVE my 18 SI Coupe! Quick.....and 47MPG highway!!
Review the plain Sport Hatch w/ 6spd and 1.5t. No Bells and whistles, no sunroof, which just means less weight and is 5-6k cheaper. That's a lot for the money
Fun review, but I gotta say, starts at $28,150 with 6 speed. I'd have to buy something else at that price. It's no Type R. The WRX starts at $27,495, the 86 $27,060, the BRZ $28,845, the 370Z is $30,090, heck the Accord Sport 2.0T is $31,360. Perhaps the best argument though is the Veloster N at $27,600. Not knocking you at all, I just don't love the price! I do get it's more luxurious and has some nice features, but even the Civic Si sedan or coupe start at $25,200. :(
Skip the sport touring. Get the normal sport hatch with manual for around $21K. Tune and summer tires - done. Great bang for the buck. This trim is too expensive.
Recent subscriber. Really enjoy your videos, especially the reviews. They are very informative, entertaining and funny. Plus you are a talented mechanic and videographer/editor.
Sarah puts a ton of work into making these. Thank you Sarah. Keep it up. I agree the Civic Sport hatch has a nice butt. The Prius could learn a thing a or two from Civic's styling.
Love hatchbacks also😎👍 I do like the Type R better more power! Honda Civic has come a long way. Can’t wait for you to test drive civic type r 🙌 Give it the beans!!!
This is the exact car that I want. Same color, type same everything but it’s a sport and I’m 17 and can’t get it 🥺 I like the style more than the sport. I honestly could care less if it wasn’t a sport. I don’t like to “go fast” so that wouldn’t be a problem
I just bought this same car , but in white . I am a car enthusiast but with a one year old to cart around , no more 350hp sports car for me .... this was one of the only vehicles that I could come up with that was sporty and practical, what I felt like was good power , great handling and fuel mileage .
Yeah same I've owned muscle cars my whole life and Im about that goof MPG these days... buying a hatchback civic sport debating on the MT or CVT... live in California there is lots of traffic but would love the fun aspect of the stick shift
Here's the one thing I don't like about new cars in general. If you're gonna give it big rims give it bigger better brakes at least lol. That gap is bigger than some people's teeth around here.
Using the paddle shifters in sport mode gets the car going a little better. The usb port is under the center console next to the "lighter" port. Nice review. I love mine. Sonic grey pearl is my favorite color.
I was waiting for this review after seeing it in one of your other videos. I've got a 2018 Sport Hatch with the 6 spd. They are peppy with a custom tune. I also swapped out the stock rear sway bar and springs with the ones from the Si which helps it rotate much better. No change in rear ride height with the stiffer Si springs.
@@elmoizme I'd be too scared to daily the R. Wouldn't want someone to back into it at work. Not to mention I'd have to sell the NSX as there isn't enough room in the garage for both.
@@justinschultz4325 Agree. Give the Si springs and rear sway bar a try. They are cheap upgrades. I did replace the stock rear shocks with some KYB's to keep the beefier springs in check as one of my stock rear shocks was starting to leak at 30K miles.
Don't know why I would subscribe to someone who talks about cars because Im not one to care about the next new thing, but I just love your humor and personality!
Getting stuck in bumper to bumper traffic in the city with a manual transmission is insanity, if you live somewhere with open highway commute and a little bit of city driving your golden with a 6 speed manual, yes rev that puppy up with a manual transmission so much fun staying in the power band ! Awesome review! Happy memorial day, thank you for your service and dedication to the American dream !
The clutch in these is like and an on/off switch. It's incredibly light. I do agree though - constantly driving through bumper to bumper traffic would get old.
Hi Sarah, Total side comment from Melbourne, Australia: Watched your first clip. WOW! You have moved so far in quality and self-belief!! Love what you do and how you've grown in filming/sound/content technique. I'm going to (A) annoy some and (B) send others scurrying to your back catalogue with some readers. But I appreciate how you broke through to some extent with your undeniable beauty and figure. But we are here for the brains, humour, skills and attention to detail..... That's what keeps your followers coming back. Keep moving forward and we'll move with you. Oh, and I'm and old bugger with a 57 chev and a Holden/Pontiac 2004 Monaro.
@@Thiterest1 Small turbo motors work very hard.....I'm betting its still going to last at least 150,000 or so. If u want a Civic with a motor that will last longer get the 2.0 motor. No turbo motors last real long.
While Nardo Is Great, Pearls Are The S**t! If It's Not Matte Or Flat, Pearls Are Muh Fav! & I'm Still So Pleased A Candy Finish Is Available, Albeit Very Rarely, From Certain Manufacturers >=]
I have the 2018 Sport hatch with a manual. It's a fun car for the price. I added two things to round out the experience. The stock stereo lacks bass, so I added a powered subwoofer. The car needed more power, so I did a Hondata tune that gave me 208 whp and 244 wtrq. The next thing the car needs is summer tires. That will be next when my stock all seasons are used up.
@@michaelsigman8942 The tune gives the car a reasonable power bump. It makes more fun and punchy in a straight line without affecting gas mileage. Warranty issues are tricky. As an example - I'm having my LED license plate lights replaced under warranty. Honda could never say my engine tune somehow ruined my license plate lights. If I go in for a blown engine it could be a different story. You have to weigh your risk/reward tolerance. My car was conservatively tuned by King Motorsports, who are Honda specialists. I'm not very concerned about having engine issues.
@@timewarphifis6062 There is a nice write up on the civicx forums. I tapped into the rear speaker wires and switched 12 volt source (turn on lead) from behind the factory stereo. Line output converter wired in to rear speaker wires for RCA's to get signal to the amp. This allows the fade to act as a sort of subwoofer volume. Power wire through grommet on driver's side pops out behind the battery. Not too difficult overall.
I was a huge honda fan boy until around 2012, thats when all their designs lost me. The civic was cheap and ugly looking, the pilot was ugly, the crv was ugly, the accord was ugly. They are better now but I cant get back into honda. I'm a Kia fan boy now, as crazy as that sounds...
I think this Gen of Civic is just ugly, especially the Type R! Why do manufacturers nowadays, especially those form the far east - and Honda aren't the worst offender - feel the need to add every shape they can think of to the body contours? Just because a shape hasn't been used in a car body before doesn't mean you should now, there are good reasons why not.
The SI should have leather since its the next upper level of model Civic.....but.....I like my cloth engraved seats on my 18 SI....its too Hot here in South Carolina in the Summer for leather.
Personaly I think the civic and golf are two or three generations past thier sell by date, just dead boring. PS I use maps all the time, much more reliable, then I'm just old folk, I'm also more reliable :)
Here is a question for you.... Spending your own money.... This in a manual or an SI ? But you can not modify either one and it will be your daily driver for the next ten years!
I think your'e absolutely hilarious, lovely, comprehensive and truthful in your reviews and, basically the best female car reviewer i have seen in a long...long..time.lol And the best icing on any car cake is that the fact that you wrench on your own rides, like me,guys if you ever date a gal that wrenches, marry her immediately.lol
Totally the best car reviews around. You gotta drive the Type R. Best manual gearbox ever. Immense corner speed. And the wing. Still like a map, just saying. Old skool n' true. The manual gearbox of navigation.
You put the dog in the back because the passenger front airbag will kill it if it is not buckled up. The dog doesn't know that. Be cool to your dog, choose safety!
This is the best of the new CIvics. If I were to get a Civic it would be this one. Hey OP, how fast are you going when you do your brake tests? 60 mph?
I was watching Raittis Rides and man that dude is so boring doing his reviews. Its a refresh you do your reviews completely different from everyone else
That car looks like the Aztek designers had a crack at it. The ass end is a real mish mash of that didn't work add something else and that didn't work try another style and so on and so on and...
I’m so with you on the manual. It’s getting harder and harder to get cars here in Australia with a manual. They are offered but have to be specially made.
