I was annoyed that 28 weeks later was the last we saw of the rage virus. I thoroughly enjoyed both movies in the franchise and would've welcomed a 3rd installment.

It's the middle of 2021 and I got chills listening to the actors/doctors talk about how a virus will eventually take millions of us.

An outbreak like this is much more realistic than in The Walking Dead. That’s because the infected are not technically undead.

They should make 28 Hours Later where the film is mostly chaos taking place during the initial infection. The only film I've seen do this is that one zombie movie with Brad Pitt.

I always thought the ending of 28 Weeks Later implied that Andy spread the virus into mainland Europe and there weren't rage zombies there beforehand.

Rabies is the closest thing to a zombie virus we have in reality. Mutations could make it like the movies relatively easily.

We seriously need a competent filmmaker to produce 28 Months Later.

Out of all viruses, the Rage Virus terrifies me the most. One bite and that's it. I know it's the same principle with the other viruses in different but with Rage it's instant infection which is more terrifying compared to other infections in other movies.

This may sound crazy but if I could afford it, I’d absolutely invest in an underground bunker and food storage. Never know when something really bad could actually happen.

One thing I still don't get; why aren't these hulked out rage zombies attacking each other? It's not like the virus is hijacking their bodies and using it like some kind of weird alien fungus. It's just making them rage the fuck out.

Don's infection scene is seriously one of the most harrowing, heartbreaking, and brutal things I've ever seen in any media.

I watched both films and when I was watching it I genuinely felt a sense of fear, it must be the way they filmed it because it felt like there was no escape. They are both truly remarkable films and if you haven’t watched them you definitely should. You constantly feel tense whilst watching it.

Now that's the most scariest thing that I ever heard about the rage virus.

I think this is one of the best zombie - infected scenarios. Considering that infected people aren't dead they would starve to death in just a matter of months. If there are people hiding they'd just have to wait for a year and then they could go out

Why is nobody noticing he got the title wrong lol. The movie he's showing us is 28 Weeks Later. Not 28 Days Later. 28 Days later was made with Cillian Murphy in 2002. 28 Weeks Later is made with Robert Carlyle in 2007.

These movies were so incredibly terrifying. If this virus was real tho I do think we would be able to contain it fairly easily depending on its country of origin

This one was one of my first zombie movies and i have to say after this i could not find anything as good like it .. well there is iam legend but this movie makes you hate the father so much and yest love the kids so much ! The story and the lies that they find out about makes the movie so powerful !! And the ending is even better !!! But yet you still cheer them on !!

The primary problem with Rage is that it infects impossibly fast. There is literally no way any virus on the planet can have that effect in a matter of 20 seconds or less. A virus causes symptoms in a host when it hijacks a cell's DNA replication machinery. It uses this to create more copies of itself. Eventually, the cells explode, releasing the copies. This cell death is what causes symptoms. This machinery can only work so fast. It cannot create copies in seconds. It can't do so in minutes. This is the limiting factor. The fastest a virus can cause symptoms is a few hours. This isn''t open to an argument such as "well, you don't know the genes they put into the new Rage virus". This is a host's cellular machinery, and it cannot be altered. Or in other words, you can argue it can cause symptoms in a few hours, but you cannot win an argument that it can cause symptoms in under 20 seconds. Next, they argue that the hosts die of starvation because they are unable to be concerned by anything but their unbridled rage. If that was the case, then they would die of dehydration in a about 4 days, rather than starve after two weeks or so. Especially with them bleeding from their orifices, and vomiting so much - they would realistically die of dehydration in about 2 days. But at least with this point, someone can argue that they failed to explain in the lore that the infected will stop and drink water if they find it...
