The Rise of Bangtan (Chapter 8) | “I NEED U” Reaction! 

It wasn't a vacation, but was pretty much like one but with photoshoots included. It was for their Summer Package (2015), which is like content they made for ARMY that included a DVD of footage from their trip & games they played (kind of like both bon voyage and run bts) and a photo book is included too with photoshoots that they took there. It may not be a proper vacation, but it was definitely a welcomed break/change in their busy music show promotional schedule in Korea.

I was an ARMY during this time. I literally voted and streamed my ass off. When they finally won first, I bawled...because as hard as I had worked around the clock--yes I set alarms--it was nothing compared to all the effort BTS had put in. And of course the sajaegi accusations were false...Bit Hit was barely surviving....Dark and Wild hadn't done as well as they had wanted and Bang PD was seriously concerned if they would be able to continue. Had this not happened when it did there might not have been a BTS anymore. It was such a memorable time....I will never forget it...I too cried so hard when I watched the 19+ mv for I NEED U....ugh...it gutted me...I knew it was acting but I just couldn't bare to see them hurting, even if it was fake. Of course we had no idea at that time that there was a Bangtan Universe. Anyway, thanks as always!

Yes, he was talking about BTS they were not so famous, and then they came from the smallest label in korea and the Big3 label fans hated on them bc they were small and didn't have money but ppl loved them internationally.

Oppa is pronounced with a long O sound, you pronounced it with a short “a” sounding like Appa. Oppa younger females call older males and Appa is what kids call their dad informally. Non-Korean here just use to hearing both these words and meaning.

Hi Twins!! I love this series, as most ARMYs do but i just wanted to add a bit. As other ARMYs have said, yes he was talking about BTS being one of those mid-famous groups bc remember that this series chronicles their birth and growth up until... what about 2021(?). It was in 2015, just 2 years after their debut that HYYH and I Need You (and the BU) were presented to the world. Their international popularity had finally increased enough, through BTS' social media presence, BTS' and Big Hit's hard work putting out quality products, AND give it up for the OG K-ARMY 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 that supported and worked diligently to translate and educate potential fans plus I-ARMY that found BTS at or near "birth", to make them win (look at the breakdown of the numbers on the show and consider in what category could I-ARMY have pulled it out for them). So this win was an obvious tilt in the scale because the population of native South Koreans is less than the population of ... well, the world obviously 😅. Props to OG ARMY for keeping BTS and Big Hit alive for: me, future ARMY, and 2 witty and handsome twins from upstate NY. No, this was not just a vacation bc they were working but it allowed them to have fun and relax a bit; a different kind of schedule with fun built in. But fast forward to ITS when the comment is made that there will be less presence of a filming crew so that they don't necessarily have all the lights and people roaming around while they're supposed to be "Sooping". Trust me Twins, that majority of ARMY is very sensitive to the fact that BTS has dedicated their lives to providing authentic and entertaining content for us. So this is why when they are on private trips, majority of ARMY WILL NOT fanboy/girl!! Work schedules and publicist-notified appearances are a different animal altogether; although we do expect dignity and respect for the guys while you show your support, right ARMY? Honestly, I'm pretty sure I could keep it together if I ever saw any one of them just out in public ... I'm 99.9% sure.😮 Enjoying your journey ... see you over on Patreon Twins! We are not ready for 2025. Been a fan since 2015 and i only had attended 1 concert the red bullet in japan. They were nit that famous that time and tix was so easy to get but everytime they had concerts im always scared coz I cant get any. Armys are sooo wild.. tix sold out in 5 mins is crazy. I hope you will get that chance to see them in person🥹

I so miss seeing them together. But at some point we're going to have to share them once they fall in love and start family's. Hopefully their future partners will be accepting lol I don't envy them, but our 7 guys deserve love in their lives. 2025 come at us!
