It's funny the Scottish Conservatives triggering a no confidence vote... they should see the amount of Confidence their Conservatives brothers have over here in England.
On the hate crime bill, I will say JK Rowling, the most-high-profile name attached to the conversation in terms of potentially running afoul of the bill, tweeted a bunch of provocative anti-trans shit, the usual bollocks of propping up a few cases of trans women who are also sex criminals, and saying it represents a massive threat and implicitly saying all trans women have the potential to be abusers. She then said "Arrest me, arrest me!". The police went "nah." The bill is overkill, but it probably won't be that effective if Rowling, a woman who has been saying horrendously offensive shit for 4 years now, isn't hit by it after saying this in public. My point is the bill sucks, but it's small potatoes compared to the Tories' assault on civil rights.
Hi Geezer. I'm an American, and your videos are very helpful in understanding what's going on over there. Also, it's a lot of fun learning British insult words! I hope you're right about the near 100% chance of the Tories being out soon. And who could have imagined that you'd be opposed to a law making anything said which bothered anyone, in any way, a crime (funny, because of the aforementioned hilarious insults)? Love YOU, too!
The Rwanda bill is a silly law. It will cost an additional £17.1million to British taxpayers every day, it won't reduce illegal immigration or reduce existing backlogs.
