I think the connection with Chiron is particularly interesting, especially with Chiron choosing to die rather than live in eternal anguish. From what we know of Horus' last moments fighting the Emperor, he might also have made a similar decision upon seeing his beloved father and held back from destroying the Emperor, allowing his father time to annihilate his soul with psychic force and thus putting him out of his misery and banishing a great deal of the chaos gods' power forever.
I don't leave many likes but you get one, I appreciate that you've done your research, Horus was the most accomplished Primark's and had the most compliances but i don't think he was the best fighter im a fan of Russ but Sanginus was the most lethal of the Primark's in my opinion
Glad to hear you liked the video - yeah good pickup, I tried to be a bit careful with my words there and made sure to focus on overall martial prowess / war suitability, encompassing all matters of warfare rather than pure fighting skill / lethality . I think you could argue that Horus ticked all the boxes but Sanguinius likely did as well
I agree I'm a Space Wolf fan too but if it was a one on one fight between Russ and Sanguineous with no legion support just their arms and armour they'd kill each other much how I think would also be between Lion and Russ. Those three are the most deadly duelist' I would also include Jaghathai but that man won by tanking all of Mortarion's attacks just so he can get exhausted for a banishing strike although he did suffer a wound that Big E had to heal that could've done him in
