i could talk about that spicy scene forever omg. anthony went absolutely feral and i loved every second of it. that whole "go inside" bit where you could tell that he was battling himself sooo hard, cause he knew he couldn't move, knew that she had to be the one to leave first because the second he let himself move it was gonna be towards her... that tension absolutely destroyed me. 😩

I've rewatched Kanthony's love scene more times that I want to admit in public 😳😳

One more thing, I can't believe they saved the most salacious bits of that love scene to Kate's flashbacks. It's like bonus footage and different angles. I was sitting there with my mouth OPEN. And Anthony's intense stare is forever burned in my brain.

Edwina calling Kate unkind was so uncalled for when Edwina called Kate her “halfsister” as an insult even though she most likely knew that Kate already lost her own mother years ago, and gave up her youth to raise Edwina while Lady Mary was mourning their father.

This episode had me on the hunt for lily scented perfume. I’m tryna make a man foam at the mouth for me the way Kate did 😂 she has him crying, shitting, and throwing up at all hours of the day

ive watched this episode a couple of times, and Anthony truly does not give a fuck. He has realized that duty has done nothing but make everything a mess. Its like they kissed in the church at the altar and he's like what do you mean we're not married now kate we kissed in a church. He thinks theyre on the same page, that they are going to be together now that theyve given in after the kiss and but kate's still in duty mode this episode until i think the gazebo scene where she realizes that edwina (at this point in time) doesnt care that Kate truly had her best interest at heart and there is nothing that she can do to change it

I love the moment on the family walk when Anthony sees Kate and it looks like he wants to run to her and can't, it's sad and cute at the same time

I've been WAITING for this video!!!! Anthony has been in HEAT this whole season and that kiss in episode 6 put him on the next level. I love how we witnessed his last shred of honor disintegrate when he said "Go. In. Side." and that head tilt when she refused. Just epic. And then he consumed her. Sheesh! 🔥

We deserve Kanthony scenes in S3. We have been through damn slow of a slow burn and wasn't serve enough to be satisfied. Besides Kanthony are the only interesting couple in this whole series.

Just so you know, it was thick headed Colin that jumped the order of the last turn of the dance to ensure Anthony danced with Kate.

As always, I enjoyed your reaction and 100% Simon and Daphne's entire montage does not compare to one look that passes between Kanthony across the room. Chemistry has a brand new definition: it's Kanthony and all future romantic couples need to aspire to their level. Simply INSANE! And yes, I agree with you on those two shots from Kate's flashback. They should have come with a warning because I wasn't ready! About the rest, all I'll say is I cannot bear how much everyone around them guilt trips them - all because they fell in love. I hate that Kate felt guilty about their first kiss and their first time, those experiences are tainted forever, and I hate that for them. People around them have some major making up to do!

Bridgerton Season 2 is the new case study for the perfect slow burn romance! They dragged us along for 7 episodes and then FINALLY gave it to us at the end of the episode!

I just love every, EVERY scene that Anthony and Kate together. The ‘can not be together’ during their promenade, the ‘we kissed and Kate felt guilty’ in the gallery, the country dance, the gazebo, no matter what situation they have. I just love them two being together.

When Anthony keeps mentioning that he is a "gentlemen," he is referring to the fact that he is a lord of the upper-class. He is to leave the ladies of the high classes untouched. There are other groups of women to frolick with. Kate is a "lady" from "good stock." He isn't supposed to mess with that. That's why he is continuously reminding himself that he is a gentleman and there is a code of honour he must follow that he is obviously struggling with.

I’ve said this before but GIRL I’m with you on the “protect Kate at all costs” attitude!! As an older sister, I would sacrifice anthing and everything if it meant my sister would be happy. When I heard people were mad at Kate, I was confused… because sure, she made some mistakes, but I don’t know if I’d do much differently. I was mad at Edwina after awhile because she didn’t even attempt to listen to Kate’s side of things. I’ve been on that side of an argument with my sister and I let her be mad at me because it was easier for her to be angry and me to take it than for her to be sad. And then continue to do anything to ensure she’s happy, even if that meant sacrificing my own happiness. That’s honestly just how most older sisters are… so I resonated (and cried) a lot for Kate’s situation later on. I get it.

I’m very late to the game here…only started watching BRIDGERTON after finding out Jonathan will be Fiyero in the WICKED films (so excited because he’s an amazing singer), and man-Jonathan Bailey is AMAZING. The fact that he made everyone swoon as a gay man is a credit to his talent, he seems like a gem of a human, and it’s great for LGBTQ+ representation. Anthony and Kate are my new fav couple!

I love the Country Dance so much !! This little moment of lightness ✨️ the fact that Anthony (the oldest of the siblings) dances with Hyacinte (the youngest) especially since Anthony is the only father figure she is known to, it's so beautiful and symbolic 💖 even the fact that Violet (the current viscountess) dances with Kate (the future viscountess) it really makes me happy 😄 I want to shed a tear 🥲😭❤ And to finish Kate and Anthony's dance, they're smiling at each other, it's beautiful. Anthony is so cheerful in this scene, he takes on his role as the man of the house 🥰😍

Nah when a man is truly madly deeply in love. And he smells his lady's scent it's like an instant hit to face. Sound drains out. Heart races, you get locked up for a moment. Trust me it happens. It happens for me and my wife still to this day.

Lady danbury be like "stay away and don't even share a single look with each other" while Anthony couldn't even take his eyes and hands of her during his own wedding. He literally sniffing her infront of them at very moment without any shame XD As Lady danbury said she really don't know how to deal with that situation.

You are literally my soulmate in terms of reactions, no one else seems to be as giddy as me, but here you are, thank God 😂 And now I'm gonna use this comment to express my random thoughts 😄 In my opinion, this season is so much better than the first one (specifically in terms of romance) - the fact that we got so little smut this time (as opposed to the montage of Daphne and Simon's sexy times XD) but it still is so sexy. I don't need smutty scenes to show me the sizzling chemistry between the leads. All I needed were the stares and the hands with their pinkies reaching out. I do not want to be rude towards Simon's actor but I think his acting needs some work (at least in terms of 'a romance lead'). I don't really know anything about acting but I was personally not in awe of his performance, it was really stiff in my opinion. Jonathan Bailey is exceptional - I believe every emotion he shows (he doesn't just lift an eyebrow and is done with it, he literally does everything, I can't even 🥰 as you said, the tension is there at all times even if they are far away from each other). Simone Ashley is perfect too, of course, most of them are, really (I see you Benedict, with all your background reactions xd). And I have a few choice words on Violet. In season 1, she was comparing Anthony to his father a lot - "if he was alive, Daphne would have married well already yada yada yada," basically covertly calling him a failure, less than (Simon also had a go at him, for God's sake, that was also cruel). Well, maybe your son is not your husband? If she constantly reminds him that he has a duty as a viscount, no wonder he tries to fulfill it in a 'by the book' way, which is usually too extreme. However, when he makes a mistake, he listens to others and tries to rectify it. Violet treats him as a head of the household first, viscount second, and son maybe third, when it should be the first. Woman, he's also your child, but he had to act as a mature adult at the age of 19 (I think?), becoming a father-figure for his younger siblings while trying to also support his mother's emotional state, and making decisions connected to his title. This woman needs to act more motherly. I get teaching your son responsibility, but add some tenderness and understanding. I guess that's all, sorry! 😅

Omg you finally made it here. The dance was one of my favorite things in the whole season. Anthony and Kate deserve to be happy so bad. I love how her eyes widen when he says “or what, we do something for ourselves?” Because they finally do something for themselves and that they deserve, even if guilt makes it hard for her to deal with afterwards. Edwina mad at Kate upset me too but I did love how she treated Anthony, because it was just good comedic timing 😂.

Lillies! :D BTW, even though I found myself rewatching this season for an insane amount of time, I wish for Anthony to have more romatic scenes with each other, after their wedding. Because in the book, it was very sweet and romantic. I hope they will have that scenes in the next season because Kanthony will be back.

So many thoughts after this episode. Definitely, nothing that Simon and Daphne did comes even close to what Anthony and Kate did. Even Kanthony just looking at each other is more charged that Simon and Daphne doing the deed. Plus I am glad that Violet had some nice moments this season because uff... she failed her oldest son so much .. and btw she did fail also Daphne by letting her leave without proper education. BTW I have finally rewatched Season 1 - only Anthony scenes - and uff I really did not like Violet. And now that I know Anthony's backstory, he was so much more likeable even in Season 1. I was even rooting for him during several of his fights with Violet or Simon. Basically we were not supposed to like him in Season 1 because he was against the main couple that's it. You catch so many underrated moments of Kanthony, many don't see how he was close to sprinting towards her immediately. Violet is physically pulling him away from their longing eye conversation and magnetic pull - Jonny and Simone nail everything with the limited agency the story had them on, the show was lucky even though they squander it still. For those two though, they made this show something I loved (even when I am skipping all the stupid triangle twists and rubies, Colin's Marina trip we never get real payoff for, etc.)

Kate and Anthony are on next level. Their chemistry is just fire. After ages, I liked the onscreen couple so much. I read the books in 2008 and Anthony and Kate were always my baby and Jonathan & Simone did fab job portraying these two insanely controlling, stubborn yet loving and loyal ppl. Simon and Daphne are no match to Kate & Anthony.

I mean we all know that as Kate falls deeper in love with Anthony her hair becomes less tight and more free and flowy but I am only now seeing it in her attire and her colour scheme too. After the wedding scene, Kate no longer wears her dark colours and rather rigid dresses( don't get me wrong they were still beautiful) she now wears brighter and flowy dresses maybe to show how she is slowly letting herself go and how she is no more fighting against her feelings so hard. A perfect example of this is in the art gallery/ museum scene where her dress is completely different from all her other dresses and how after that scene they never go back to how they were before.

I binged watch this entire season the day it was released on netflix and luckily i had the next day off work so i had no problems staying up til 4am to finish. I think what you misunderstood was that Violet was trying to figure out if he intended to marry Kate in that one scene where she talks about marriage. The problem is their usual one. He doesn't react to well to her pulling the parent card and criticizing him so he cut her off before she could get to the point and left.
