Oh, we love the smell of fresh spruce. I even try to take a little branch from the Christmas tree farms and keep it on the car while I'm driving around so I can smell it. We like to use it everywhere too. Sounds like we should move to Sweden!I do love all your decorations, especially your front porch! The door mat is such a good idea. Thank you again for such a special advent treat!

This has made me so happy as I'm a big fan of spruce. Unfortunately there is not a lot growing where I live but we have an abundance of holly and ivy, which is pretty (if a bit prickly) to decorate with too.

I love your videos I watch them every evening.I find them so relaxing.I love the way you decorate you homes with spruce pine cones and candles.I live in Jersey Channel Islands. We do not get much snow but when we do I just love it.Happy Christmas and God bless.X

Hi Maria, thank you for a wonderful video of the Christmas spirit in Sweden. Spruce has always been the tree that my parents would put up for Christmas and the smell of it would linger in her house for a long time. My mom would make a homemade wreath to put on our front door and I scheduled decorate it. Thank you for that memory. I hope you and hubby are well.

Oh, poor you, I hope you are fully restored:) I can smell the spruce coming through the screen, it feels so fresh and vibrant. Thanks too for the other instagram suggestions: you all make your homes look wonderful - it almost makes me like snow again. But perhaps to look at rather to have to slide over on the pavements!!!

I am binge watching this and although I have already decorated for this year I really want to do more a Swedish style next year. I love the more minimalist look and colors and the spruce. We call them firs where I am from originally but I love love love the smell. Thank you for this beautiful advent of your holiday culture.

Hallo all things green! I've just discovered your channel an I like it very much. Your videos are great! I love spruce trees, I've planted them all around my house many year ago and now very tall an beautiful. As you do I have used branches for wreaths and other beautiful decorations. You are doing such wonderful things at your farm! I'm waiting to see you go to the barn and bring out a beautiful brown thoroughbred and harness to a sled! Thank you!

Wooow your house is stunning! The spruce decor looks so nice, but they start to shed their needles soo fast when they‘re inside the house :/ in Germany we also get mostly spruce trees, but firs are definitely preferred, because they last longer and are not spiny and sharp, makes it a lot more easy to decorate😁 yet they’re more expensive. Thank you for your lovely advent calendar:) I learnt a lot about Swedish Christmas traditions 🤗 God jul!

I love using spruce as well. I find that after Christmas, it seems a bit dull once all the decorations are taken down, but I leave my "winter" decor up.... which is mostly spruce!

I grew up in Washington state, USA and LOVE spruce! Now I live in Texas and spruce is too expensive to buy so we have a non-live Christmas tree. 🙁. Ty for your videos!❤️🙌🏻🤗🥰❄️🎄🌲

I love all your Vlogs and am binge watching as many as I can. This video is from 3 years ago so I suppose by now you know "wreath" is pronounced like "reeth" (same sound as "teeth") and not "reth" like the "e" in the word "best". I'm not going to mention some of the other minor ways your English is just a tiny bit off (you're obviously VERY fluent!) because they are so cute and sweet! God Jul!
