As a Legacy Gear player, you cannot imagine how weird it is to see Slayer with regulat gatlings and a special cancelable 2D. It looks so cursed.

Curious to see how Slayer goes. He may initially struggle, but seems like he snowballs as hard as the main culprits of Wild Assault since Pilebunker guarantees a wallstick if you're close enough.

I didn't even think about 5D with forced counterhit, that's so cool. I remember being excited about 5D with cranked RISC as a universal mixup in early Strive, but it ended up not being a common thing. I'm glad Slayer has that.

So funny thing, nothing slayer has in Dandy step is punishable seemingly besides PB, the low is safe as hell, the high is a GUARD CRUSH that's seemingly either slightly minus or plus, and obviously there's the true guard crush move. So seemingly the best way to beat slayer is to disrespect the hell out of his pressure

Neutral is gonna be tough for Slayer. You'll need to use your mappa's in a smart way.

Pilebunker? Naw more like Smilebunker Feels GOOD to have a main character back,1st Guile in SF6,and now Slayer in Strive!! Now if Tekken 8 were to somehow get their acts together and add *Lei Wu Long* back into the mix,my mains for the 2020 fighting game would have all returned
