As someone who lives in the U.K. but used to spend quite some time state side I’m astonished by this. To be quite frank, with all the crazy stuff you have in your food over there, including many items which are banned in almost every other western country, I think kale is the last thing people should be worrying about.
I've got plenty of wonderful kale in my garden that hasn't had any commercial fertilizers or pesticides and I put a leaf or 2 in my daily smoothie and I will continue.
@@littlemel1617 If you massage your Kale before baking it, that helps. Search for more info on YT. They'll show you how to do it. Massage, rinse, massage and rinse again. Pretty simple.
I have organic kale all year round and make kale salad with quinoa add it in my smoothie add it in my soup make kale chips, it’s been 6 years we’re fine
We should not be worried about kale killing us what we should be worried about us all these junk fast food places like mcdonalds burger king soda everyone is eating today and things loaded with cholesterol saturated fats that raise our blood pressure and promote cancer and heart disease that's what we should be worrying about!! I know people who eat kale myself included and they are healthy thriving people that never get sick and unwell and they get no health problems either they are fit healthy people that eat plenty of fruits and vegetables like kale spinach and broccoli and their super healthy people!!!
The problem is the soil! And people! So if Kale has it due to growing in the ground so does everything else! Fast food probably still has more lead so….?
Kale has never given me any problems so far. It's one of the few green vegetable my IBS can tolerate just fine. It's not like vine plant leaves, dandelions, radish tops, or other greens that are difficult to digest. Raw, roasted, smoothie'd, kale is one of the few raw greens that aren't harsh on my stomach and bowels. I have to cook and even boil most vegetables to be able to digest it. At worst, just don't eat it every day. Too much of anything isn't good for you- too much bacon fat, too much beef, too much broccoli, too much bread, anything could be overdone. You need a diversity of ingredients for optimal functioning.
We have to support more good Doctor like him who gives us very reasonable health information that helps us improve Our health and understand that soot trust in all fake news
Dr oz i miss you glad I was able to find you today I only buy organic kale however they say it contains oxolates so I add 3 oz of lemon juice to reduce oxolates per google
Well,me to but I stars doing kale chips ,, So good and love them now Fresh kale sprinkles with OLIVE oil and LITTE salad, peper and paprika ,,just sprinkles not to much And 3 to 5 min in air fry ,,,holly cow 😲🤗🤗🤗🤗 Delicious food 🤗🤗🤗🤗💞
All the vegatables that I like they say are bad for you... Now Bruss😮r l sprouts.. a b d spinish.😢 Peas😢.I don't like kale.. hard to digest.. I was using them in smothies.. but I wasn't putting enough water in them.. I like spinach. Brussel sprouts. Peas..though not really a vegetable.. ??? Hey I'm not a rabbit.. And do have issue's with My teeth. Like I lost them. So chewing is difficult. . Limits what I can eat. On tip of everything else. And avocados started to make me really sick with cramps diarrea.. I would still eat a Little guacamole, if it was being served. I love it. 😢
Kale benefits so very good for you and no it’s not bad for it’s hood for you I put it in my smoothies everyday please don’t listen to people who might say it’s bad for you you can even make kale chip put the leafs in a woke olive oil after put in a sandwich bag and eat it careful it looks like marijuana, which is funny because it’s not it’s just and it’s good for
Dr. Oz is a quack. I stopped watching his show when he made a comment not to eat more than 19 peanuts…. On one show some foods are good for you next show they’re bad. Dr. Oz is not professional researcher and he can’t be trusted to know the difference between good or bad research re:foods. Wanna be confused about what to eat keep watching his shows.
Wrong... Kale is one of the dirtiest (contaminated) veggies in our food supply.... it's not a superfood.... and its nasty taste is natures way of warning mammals to not eat it.... it is salad bar decoration, not food....
Hi beautiful people, O how much I love your show Dr Oz Ok, imagine my deceased mother who had oxalate allergies or else drank a kale or spinach smoothy in her mornings. That would have killed her on the spot. Each and every individual is different, exactly like thumb prints we are supposed to know what makes us feel good or sick Mint for example if drank like a smoothie in big huge quantities may cause poisonous réactions... Many other greens may be added to the list... In brief, like the beautiful Dr at the end of the show said, add only two leaves of kale to your smoothie then add other fruit and vegetables variety in food choices is very important A big lover of KALE! I will never stop eating it inshAllah 😊
Damn ....I can believe what he is saying about forgetfulness and heavy metal toxity, i use to blend every day , twice a day, would drink kale,broccoli and spinach smoothie Every morning before practice, i felt great for a few years but by my junior year i was feeling bad no matter how healthy i ate. My hair, skin, nails, and aging were amazing, its like i stopped aging for a few years. I am age 30 now , but no one believes it. They all think that i am in the early 20s, and i hadn't eatting healthy in nearly 2 years, Now, for some reason, all my body wants right now are veges. I was just pregnant not too long ago, but my taste buds will not bounce back to normal, everything taste bad. If it's not a salad, i can't eat it.
