The Tudor North Flag is a Forgotten Bargain Watch | Watchfinder & Co. 

I love my North Flag. I bought it expecting to wear it on weekends mostly while doing something casual but it ended up becoming an everyday watch. It's comfortable, readable, just different enough to have its own look and it takes a beating without showing too much wear.

This is actually one of my favourite watches of all time. It’s playful without looking ridiculous! It’s sporty while still a little dressy. It’s such a great all rounder.

Thank you for doing this video because this watch deserves way more attention than it gets. I got my North Flag a little over a year ago and I love it. It's my "main watch". It's the perfect explorer/field watch IMO. I love that it's super accurate with the 70 hour in-house movement and the splash of yellow on the time reserve indicator. I can wear it with jeans or to an office.

For a $3000-$4000 watch that flaw in the "1" at 12 o'clock is just unacceptable QC 0:11

I have one as my daily wear, I've had it for two years and it's a true hidden gem, the movement is great, the build quality is amazing, I reckon this is going to be a future classic, cracking all round watch.

North Flag felt very natural on the wrist among many I tried at a dealer. I was looking forward to the LH Pelagos but the North Flag was the one that stood out.

I love mine. It has taken a beating though I've got some serious scratches on the case and bracelet haha. It was love at first sight for me! The best thing about it is unless you have an interest in watches you have likely not even heard of Tudor. Certainly, you would not know the connection to Rolex. Just how I like it, flies under the radar unless you are a watch guy

We thought you sounded rather off colour recently, so much so that my wife (you know, the one that thought watches were boring until she heard you), insisted we place a pair of gloves next to one of my watches and keep a lit candle between them until she thinks you sound better. I’ll fetch her right now so she can look at this vid & I can blow that darn candle out!

Love this watch, but wish they did a monochrome version without the yellow accent. The yellow I think cheapens it, a subtle grey as a replacement would have been so much more understated and refined

Yes, he listened! This is my favorite model in their lineup and the only I'd consider, it's design is distinct enough that it's not ripping off a mainstream Rolex one, fantastic movement and funky integrated case

my absolute favorite watch. better than my Omega speedy. Better than my IWC. Better than my Black Bay. the watch I seem to wear the most. Not many online for sale, so others must agree with me

Always been a favourite, a toss up between the Pelegos and this for a Tudor. This wins hands down modern, classy and a touch sporty too. Really hate on dial power displays, but this is one of the very few I do like. Best let the noise die down a while before going hunting! 😁

At 0:10, there’s a closeup shot of the 12:00 marker, it’s cringey how badly the top of the “1” was finished as exposed by the macro lens. I love Tudor but that’s pretty despicable workmanship for a supposed luxury watch.

I have a Pelagos I greatly enjoy. I initially disliked the North Flag but over time it has grown on me. I like the power reserve indicator and although the integrated bracelet is a polarizing design, it is distinctive and sporty.

I was looking into buying one for a long time and did so a few months ago. I love the style, especially because it doesn't look similar to a Rolex, which most other Tudors do. Interestingly, the luminous material on my watch is green, while in this video it's blue. Would be intersting to know whether this is due to production date or country of sale...

i’ve always seen pictures of it and it never did anything for me, but now seeing it in three dimensions it’s affected me much more than i thought it would

The case design and the way that the bezel is set into it is wonderful. You’re very accurate about the Genta influence. This is Tudor’s opportunity to create that niche watch, an icon in a part of the segment where none has existed before. So many possibilities can be created within this case. Chronographs, dials with different finishes and colors. Perhaps a falling numbers dial or a few limited editions from noted jewelry and watch designers like Alain Silberstein. This case has great architecture. This is Tudor’s chance to distinguish itself as its own with its own identity and with an in house movement. Quite extraordinary. I hope that they expand on it.

I've got many Tudor's and this is probably my favorite. It's a great watch now, and I think it will become a classic.

It was this vid that turned me on to Tudor. I bought the North Flag just over a year ago and love it although the leather strap has already started to show wear. Next bought the Heritage Advisor but find it a little difficult to read as the silver hands tend to get lost in the silver dial and just bought the Tudor Harrods which I'll keep for an investment. I have two more I would love to add: The Black Bay Chrono Panda and the Monte Carlo 7149.

As well as the cracked '1' at the 12 o-clock at 0:10, does the silicone balance spring at 5:50 look like it's deteriorating too?

I love it. Their modern, deairing implementation of the traditional power reserve is marvellous. It is an unique piece, even for Tudor.

It’s a good tool watch that I don’t mind scuffing and scraping doing work and play. It’s not high horology and doesn’t try to be. Just wear your Rollie, AP,VC, Breguet or PP the other times. Though the leather version is a more daily beater watch.

I have a North Flag now for over a year and love it. I picked it up for a bargain and it's one of my favourite watches ever. I like it more than my Rolex Hulk, I love the black and yellow colours.

Love it, by far the best Tudor--an original design among the awful sub homages! Very tempted, this or a Seamaster? The inability to switch straps holds me back, otherwise I'd get this. Great video, thanks 👍🏻👍🏻

This was on my radar... very unique and unusual looking piece. Loved the yellow, and H-link integrated bracelet. Got put off by how sharp the edges were. Also by how big the text was at the bottom: nearly as big as the TUDOR text - why does it need to be so big? The poorly spaced LY (7:44) is a bit of a joke. As a graphic designer, I cannot un-see such a novice typographical error in typesetting. Also, I've seen pieces with the 1 in the 12 not properly vertically aligned. Overall a very cool piece, but it feels a touch unrefined.

I love this watch and would have bought it when I was shopping around but instead opted for the Pelagos. At that time nobody had one and it stood out all on its own as the only all Titanium watch in the Rolex family. I kinda wish I got this one though now as I love the display back and it's more of a talking piece too since it's the first all hands on deck from Tudor to bring the brand back into the game. I've since sold the Pelagos as it's got to the point where it's too common. I like my watches to be a bit different, something to talk about and something that's designed differently to the norm. Now I have a handful of smaller brand watches like Spinnaker and Marloe with another coming from MAEN Hudson 38 (STP1-11 Elabore movement that they adjust and regulate to 5 positions) soon. I especially like the Marloe Morar as the lume is so bright and long lasting it reminds me of the Pelagos' BGW9, and it's a limited run watch of 250 (I chose serial #13). At time of writing there are only 2 left for sale and it uses a Miyota 9039 movement which only features in a handful of watches too. For me the 9039 has given up to +5.1s a day accuracy which is superb. The Pelagos was giving me +2s a day and to be honest I don't care for in-house movements given that it's pretty evident off the shelf movements are highly capable of exceeding COSC spec when the micro brand takes a bit of effort to adjust and regulate each piece. If I ever come across a North Flag in the used section of forums and it's priced well, I'll jump on it for sure and it will be added to my small collection. But for me, micro brands are taking over the field that Seiko has seemingly left behind and ignored now and this is a great thing. Brands like MAEN are using Swiss movements and decorating them as well as adjusting and regulating at a price point that is at leats 3x lower than the big name brands with in-house movement. The case quality and fit and finish is also very very good these days and this type of competition can only be a good thing.

The movement is also very accurate. My North Flag is less than 1s off per day after calibration. About 4s per week.

I love my North Face. It's nice to hear it get some good mainstream respect. It's one of my absolute favorites on the wrist.

How about the Seiko 5 Sports? Its a new line which will be replacing the legendary discontinued SKX. There are alot of mixed feeling about the new model, some love it and some hate it. I would love to hear your opinion about it.

Great video..... I ended up purchasing this watch with a band and bracelet. I love its heritage and uniqueness. I also like that I can wear this watch and feel pretty confident that I will not see someone else wearing it. I chose this over a Rolex Explorer. Although I might end up with both at some point. We shall see...... Thank you....

I really like the North Flag. Power reserve, Date and a display back case. I just wish the power reserve was lumed and there were more strap options.

I have this watch and trust me it has to be worn on the wrist to really appreciate its beauty. Many ‘first’ from Tudor packed into one watch. If I remember correctly, Breitling ‘traded’ its B01 with Tudor for this movement inside North Flag. Will Tudor be around a hundred year later, you bet, perhaps North Flag could be a future classic, like Rolex Daytona overlooked decades ago.

This been on the list for a while but for various reasons have not pulled the tricker. They often come up for very fair money. Not sure if strap or bracelet is the best fit.

it’s true when you think about it: there is only 1 time when tudor produces an in-house calibre and they introduced it in the North Flag. The design made the statement.

This is my "go to" watch. Works in every circumstance. I've a couple of dressier / more obviously expensive things, but this one nails it.

Love this design, happily buy one of these and a Pelagos blue over a rolex these days!

I always liked the shape of the case and the integrated bracelet. I could live with the dial. But...that black ring below the bezel is a no go for me. Sorry.
