This is my guide on how to play Drogoz in 2021 (Season 4)! This guide contains all the tips, tricks, and loadouts I use to play Drogoz and rule the skies! If you're looking to improve at any of Drogoz's different playstyles, then this is the video for you! This video contains gameplay tips, advanced techniques, and general strategies for Drogoz, as well as optimized builds for Fusillade, WYRM Jets, and Combustible! I also had some help from ‪@Infernal地獄のような‬ with making this guide! She's a Drogoz master with over 1,000 hours spent playing this champion, and she provided a lot of the tips you see in this video!

If this guide doesn't change that then nothing will help you get better at drogoz 🤣 it's a pretty extensive guide but even knowing all that theoretical knowledge you still need a lot of practice to build muscle memory

Either you suck with your positioning and need to knuckle down on it, you don’t know how to attack the enemies, or you can’t hit your shots, otherwise I don’t know anything that could possibly help

wish you made guides like this with other experienced players more often, this was super interesting, I like it much more than just a 15 minute gameplay video, this is a much more indepth look at a champion. More content creators should be doing stuff like this, its super helpful. I mean other youtubers make "guides", but this one was actually good :)

This is a really good guide, if you want to utilize Spit-Salvo ambushes and stuff use a loadout similar to this at 18:18 but dont use the salvo cooldown card at 5. That can be taken down because propel is mandatory at level 3-5 (4 is the best option for fusillade) That leaves room for some cooldowns, but you arent sacrificing all your mobility.

Another oscure tip for Drogoz players*** is that there is a mechanic/(definitely a glitch) where if he gets hit by a melee attack while flying it will turn off his jetpack for ~1 second. It's extremely annoying, but watch out for things like Tiberius Ult slash/Vatu ambush/Maeve pounce (and theoretically) Makoa Ult/Terminus swing

Is it a glitch? I've been trying to figure out why Androxus is deemed a hard counter to drogoz, and if melee keeps him from escaping, it might be working as intended.

Oh yea, for the controller drogoz player’s try flying with LB or L1 i find it quite easier. Hope’s this helps.

23:48 You actually can get the mount speed boost while in the air, but you CANNOT JUMP off the an edge, but ride off, quickly tap the shoot button once (to dismount) and immediately hold the thruster. This is the same with andro glide like at the start of Serpent beach. The effect is great with masterriding👍

@@visionmp3 he doesn't play it. Period. The first time he played it in around 2-3 years was recently with froggy. He still take a look at the game from time to time, as he tunes into, practically, every Mutu stream, and still cares about the bugs, such as when he pointed out a couple of collision bugs for the Frozen Guard rework. I just think that Helvian really is incomparable when it comes to Drogoz. Oh well, at least we still have the Kami Drogoz guide that has Helvian in it. And it's actually still pretty useful.

You can use dragon punch to get into the air Or Use dragon punch in the air to restore booster fuel Or to fly across the map tons of ways to use his dragon punch not just for 1 shot people

Survival at at least 4 is a crutch card for me now. I sometimes propel into a bad situations and without that card im screwed. Vs counters if youre like me and would rather contest Androxus when hes on the ground after he nether steps this card is great for making him waste his resources. Survival at 4 or 5 vs snipers is huge too because they cant another followup shot or a killing blow before you get se big momentum amd can safely land where noone else can followup.

I'm lvl 135+ Drogoz, and I never use "Hot swap" in my builds, especially now that Caut isn't a thing anymore and Deft Hands is my first choice almost always, unless I'm playing Combustible and go for Cronos just to spam more.

On PC or labtop a high powered one flying is so much more easy sense you can increase your frame rate me I play at 250frames by changing the smooth frame rate from 175 to 250 on mouse an keyboard of course

Decided a few days ago that Drogoz will be my next champ to buy. I am one set of dailies away from affording him. I am 40 minutes away from dailies resetting. And here's RU-vid, recommending me a 2 day old video that it should have sent me 2 days ago, that is 40 minutes long, talking about Drogoz tactics. The universe is telling me something....

It's a fine card, just boring which is why I didn't mention it. If you wanted to be more resilient to snipers you could replace Hot Swap in my Fusiwyrm build, for example.

Ya know, I think "The Fire Spit tech" just doesn't click with me as a name for a Combo. I personally call it "The Spitfire Combo". Edit: Rewatched and saw that InfernalDrogoz literally called it that. I feel like an Idiot now. 😂 Also, Thanks for the Loadout. Really improved my Drogoz gameplay recently.

So I don’t like that the idea of remapping jump for controller was mentioned, but the detail that booster can be used by holding left stick (similar to Viktor sprint) was left out. I’ve heard it doesn’t work on Switch, but I know it does with Xbox controllers on both Xbox and PC and I’m fairly certain it does on PS4 as well.

Not sure if it's possible on console, but on keyboard it's possible to change bindings for a specific champ only. It's what I use for champs like Tyra and dredge

Note: If you have high ping. Rather do not play drogoz. With 200ping you just get blasted out of no where. In this case play alot more passively

Where is thrill of the hunt for your fusil/wyrm build??? You don't need altitude due to thrust reset + rain of fire combo. It's also so impactful for getting out with your ultttt

Your point on fusillade getting little value against champions with damage reduction doesn't make much sense either, as damage reduction against wyrm can make a 3 shot turn into a 4 shot. Also, fusillade enables a ton of 2 shot combos against pretty much every squishy except Tyra with your fire spit.

This FussiWyrm deck sucks ass when used with Fussiladr actually. There is no reset for jets when getting a kill, although drogo has this card. Not included it there was a mistake. I had a feeling I was dying much more than I did before. Better used with Wyrm and wyrm only

Due to the controversial nature of roof abusing (sitting on rooves to recharge booster fuel) I left it out of the guide. Plus, in some tournaments, such a technique is outright banned.

That's not a good nessa. Good nessas would hardscope that drogoz in the beginning. Also wouldnt burn tp without making sure drogoz/mobile flanks are dead before taking bleachers. Plus his reaction time/agressiveness shown is pretty slow compared to top nessas.

Infernal is a good drogoz player for sure but I deem myself to be more capable due to my builds and game sense, just saying. Andrews advice is solid but if you do irregulars like a balanced fusillade with a hint of thrust cooldown it will be letal.I suggest trying out a anti flight build and just hoping around with boosted dmg, its hilarious.
