Episode 10 of season 2. NOOBS IN DISGUISE IS BACK BABY Your 7th favourite starcraft II duo lambo and harstem are back to give you some insane Noob in disguise action. Email for replays: Harambosc2@gmail.com
Moderate laughing by Lambo this week. I estimate that it took 3-4 tries for the intro Edit: after seeing the in-game timer (>40 seconds) I'm going bump that up to 4, maybe 5
felt like plat 1 for the terran and diamond 3 for the zerg in my opinion like 3100 mmr terran and 3200 mmr zerg - was very surprised it was 3700. Hard to tell with zergs in a game like this. (and NA)
I play NA at ~3100 and I WISH my Terran opponents played like this one. It reminded me so much of my platinum level games. The absolute absence of any micro for the Terran's ground army had me convinced this was high platinum. This guy lets a pile of banelines melt his bio army instantly, meanwhile most of my Terran opponents at ~3100 kite me endlessly. Tricky game for sure haha
The Terran made the game look low level, but snipe does not exist in plat... and that's if ghosts are built at all. Still shocked it was that high though, I was thinking Harstem was right. What a bad game.
15:30 - IMO you shoulnd't see the skins your opponent has, but ALWAYS the skins you use yourself. It makes this type of shenanigans impossible. There is an example of a bunker, where it is quite difficult to see if the bunker is full or not.
Then you wouldn't be able to show off (money? personality somewhat, by what you pick) to other players, which seems to be the main reason people buy skins for.
Zerg: knew the timing for the initial marine/medivac push, had queens ready, defended BCs correctly, went into lategame correctly. Terran: herp derp BCs, nukes, planetaries
I mean, if the zerg would have scouted he could have droned straight to 50 drones without making those 20 lings, he would have gone to 8 queens instead of 6. He didn't defend the BCs correctly, look at all those drone losses and panic spores. Also on too low worker count too long and you're also not mentioning the zerg losing a ton vs nukes, not killing the undefended base, being on too low dronecount for a long time. The terran did play quite poorly, but the zerg made a lot of mistakes too, else the game would have ended in 8 minutes.
As a low elo zerg player (diamond 3), this one hits home I lose to terrans like this all the time and it always feels bad, especially after seeing 40 apm on the scorescreen (I always also have trouble with seeing nukes and how to defend agaist them, especially on larger maps with 8 + bases)
Camera hotkeys help a lot. Even if you don't have one for every base, it allows you to go through 4-5 bases very quickly and you have more time for the rest. Also if you have map control you can just set up a couple lings with an overseer at chokes on the map (a couple are usually enough that ghosts will have to cross there), setting them on patrol with overlord speed is very effective at catching them.
Yo harstem. Lambo? Idk who runs this channel. I'm not an expert but I'm pretty sure putting all of this content on different channels really hurts the amount of views you are getting. I do understand wanting to keep a channel consistent(I think putting stream vods on a different channel makes sense) But if there's content that you are producing to a similar level of quality, the only thing putting it on a different channel does, in my opinion, is make it so a large portion of your audience won't know it exists. This channel is a year old, for instance, and I only found about about it because of a post on the starcraft subreddit today, despite being a vig fan of your channel for years. Not saying you have to do anything of course, but that's just my perspective.
