Man Amir Sadollah is another man who had so much potential but a plethora of injuries kept him from reaching his potential dude finished 6-5 in his entire career with the UFC
My favourite season. Great fights throughout. Rampage and Forrest being fun coaches. Amir was my fave and his win in the semi was such a great moment. Jesse going on a rampage post show. Matt Brown being the psycho character, Tim Credeur and CB Dollaway being legit talents. Mike Dolce and Matt Riddle becoming big names in other fields.
@@seanforeman640 true its probably better for him but sad to see talent in a real sport be wasted on a stunt show. Its like if someone gave you the choice of being a wizard or a magician lmao.
yeah, exactly. I would've been ashamed of myself if that was me. Getting in 2-3 more solid hits on a dude who's obviously passed out is not cool at all. I get it's fighting and you want to win, but having respect enough to not try to cause more harm to your opponent than you have to is something these dudes need to keep in the back of their heads in these fights
@@dannyc7227 - Rampage actually lost a very close decision, looooots of people thought Rampage won . Especially quoting that bullshit Dana quote that "to beat the champ you have to beat the champ" Rampage is usually the king of winning split decisions or plain robberies, from Ninja Rua, Satoshi Ishii, King Mo, Murilo Bustamante, Lyoto Machida, Matt Lindland (fight was a perfect draw and Quinton was a whole weight class above, in those cases the smaller dude tends to get the nod)... He won all of them! Bendo is a close second when it comes to being the splits king, and of course JCVD is still the GOAT. Point is, that was the fist and only time Rampage lost a close decision, these always go his way. Karma etc
@@andymontanez56 , my apologies. I guess my memory didn’t serve me correctly. It’s been like 10-years or so since I’ve even watched the fight. If only I had alluded to it being a while since I watched the fight in my initial post.
That dude Matt Riddle knocked out it the beginning got it hard. He broke his jaw in like 5-6 places, the clip after the match he was in the ambulance wondering what happend, and he was shocked to hear he had been in a fight. Like he had never fought before.
Amir Sadollah was such an awesome dude. I really wish he had a more vibrant career in the UFC. He did well, but I really wish he would have gone further. Shout out to Amir!
@@ryanmussell739 Every time I get the urge to want to train to fight for real in some capacity, I watch that KO again and I'm immediately like "nah I'm good lol"
Dude I posted a comment asking who this was cuz it was killing me, but then I saw yours so I deleted it. Holy fuck I forgot Matt Riddle was UFC before😂
The funny thing is I watched TUF 7 the other day and I forgot about Matt Riddle who was a solid well rounded young fighter. I was wondering what happened to him so I googled him and only could find a WWE star. Then I realized it was him.
@@zeaferjones1404 he was relaesed from the UFC for testing positive for weed of all things. Dana even ranted about it. Funny how Nate is puffin joints at the pressers now.
@@markhill8150 It's redemption if the last time you were in the UFC, you were harassing people, wrecking property, and pissing yourself twice on national TV
I still remember watching this on spike tv like it was yesterday. Man, I loved this season. The jokes and the personality from Forrest and Rampage was peak content. I remember I picked Amir Sadollah to win the entire show during his first fight and was so happy when he won it all! It's too bad his career in the UFC didn't pan out so well.
I get what you're saying but his job is to keep hitting the other guy until the ref stops him, and especially when adrenaline is through the roof most people wouldn't have the clarity to understand and stop. That's my take
Facts, there are plenty of clips of guys getting the walk off KO - if you’re a professional fighter you know what it looks like when you’ve knocked someone out. It’s unacceptable to continue beating on someone whose eyes are at the back of their head and I think it should come with a cut to the fighters payout
@@tannerebeling1056 But you have to remember he’s basically still a kid and it was apparently his first KO, he’s not a professional fighter or has experience with KO’ing. And thousands of matches have ended in a situation like this, guy goes down and gets flash KO’d, but the other guy jumps on him and wails on him until the ref stops him. Walk offs aren’t common, even with the best of the best of fighters.
You should be pissed at the ref then, they're instructed to go until the ref stops them. It's cost fighters wins easing up when the ref isn't stopping them. So to protect competitive integrity it has to and is on the ref to halt the attack.
Okay I’ve been watching your videos for the last week and this season seems to be the craziest BY FAR. Like where the hell did they find these guys lol
Well I looked it up and apparently it’s type 2 herpes he has which is herpes not contracted from sex. Apparently wrestlers get it commonly rolling on the mats and stuff .
I had a mind blown before Riddle ever entered the WWE, he was actually a pretty good upcoming fighter in this TUFF season, well at least he's happy where he is now, he's an entertainer through and through.
Styles make fights. Chuck is a head hunter, so it plays into Rampage also trying to find your chin. Forrest hit him with an onslaught of leg kicks, which rampage notoriously hates and dosen't defend well against, which kept him out of punching range.
For those wondering about the fate of Jesse Taylor, he would continue fighting until he was invited back for the Ultimate Fighter season 25. He would redeem himself and win the tournament, before getting flagged for a doping violation in his first fight under contract and be cut from the promotion.
@@stayout9 oh man I forgot about affliction lmao it was a cross between ed hardy and tapout, all you needed was some rhinestone blue jeans and you were all douchebaged up
Watching these makes me reminisce about watching the seasons for the first time, it’s surprising that I forgot some of the fighters that came through TUF!
@mattajas what are you talking about, that was the season with Nate Diaz lol, him trying to fight Kairo and of course there was the infamous warrior Andy Wang on the show and the fat bitch Gabe Rudiger and the crazy ass Corey hill, I loved that season
I liked this season a lot back then because even though they would get mad....you could tell ramoage and forrest were having fun and cared about their teams.
They are far stupider then Nate, Nate is kind of messed up now with all those strikes him and his brother love eating. But still a genius compared to the fighters this season. Herpes out. Runs around assaulting women, kicks out window in limo, and starts yelling at hotel security that he is a ‘ufc fighter’. What incredible a-- half these seasons guys were.
