Looking forward to your Hyper P1 wheel review. I'm between this wheel and the P1. One thing I didn't like about other GSI wheels is how easy it is to turn the front multi position knobs on the wheel with no real click and way too easy to adjust incorrectly with gloves on during a race.
It looks great. And great video. But I feel there are better options out there and for a shopper that is looking to buy its first expensive wheel, these reviews are great but the most important missing for us is the comparisons versus others. Most reviews say that high end wheels are great. Yes, they all seem to be. But how do I choose from Hyper P1, CSX3, Bavarian Omega Pro, VPG wheels? No one answers that question. And if its just a matter of aesthetic, then I would love to know as it would make my choice more easy.
Hello, It's a pretty accurate test. I've had this steering wheel for a few months. In the previous reviews on RU-vid some inconveniences were not addressed. I am thinking in particular of the button which turns a little on their own, the three leds RGB that we see through the buttons the miner and the calibration of a clutch shifter. The grip of the hands on the steering wheel is an important criterion, unfortunately this steering wheel does not offer sufficient grip for smooth hands, which is a shame on a steering wheel of this price. This is his biggest flaw. Bye bye.
Great review! I have been using the CSX3 for the past few months and love it. Have had the same issue on the paddles. Have you had any issues with keeping the screen dash active? For example, I have found if I turn my PC off or to sleep in-between races and power it back on, the dash will not typically launch accurately. It will be static and not show the actual SimHub dash or be working correctly. The only way around this is to turn the wheel on and off several times before the SimHub dash is finally working properly. This occurs with any SimHub dash I am using. Quite annoying. Not sure if this happens to anyone else.

I have N honest question: I mainly race IndyCar on IRacing and I’m curious if this wheel is overkill for my needs? It has so many buttons and features that I’m wondering if they’re really all needed? I am seriously considering buying this wheel, but wondering if a lesser wheel would make more sense? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
