This video makes me feel a bit better. I try to do my best to read around strategies and techniques but I'm not a massive gamer with extensive knowledge on Pokemon battles. I play Pokemon to unwind after a stressful job and I find raids and the grind really fun. A lot of content creators shame not very experienced players on their videos and I really appreciate you being kind and providing very accessible information for everyone. Thank you!

Slowbro for against physical attacker raids (max ev train special attack and physical defense) slowking for against special attacker raids (max ev train special attack and special defense) . Annihilape (max ev train hp or physical defense and physical attack) for variety/ maybe pokemon that slowbro/slowking can't handle. There will be others you'll want but these 3 will do most for you.

Why couldn't you just use Slowbro with Amnesia for the Special Attackers? The base stats don't matter much at that point.

@@nickrouse8426 you could but its not as high. Want as much coverage possible sometimes. And you would need 2 slowbro anyway. So at least it'd be nice on the eyes. Even though I do love slowbro.

Not many people know about this but there is actually a mini chat function during the raid that you can use when you press the minus button during the raid on your turn. There are 4 chat option: Everyone attack together!, Help, thanks, and I've got this. But even that isnt that effective in communicating

Also, the NPC's don't respond to the mini chat function. I've tried to get them to coordinate using it just for the sake of experimentation, but I haven't seen them change anything if you use it.

I'm not sure, but I think raid time lost on faint depends on the level of your Pokemon. It's why the level 1 Shinx w/ Helping Hand was a niche strategy for the Cinderace raid. Still have to deal with the long respawn timer, though.

I had some difficulty with a ground type armorouge which was a sun setter so I build a sp def garydos with raindance taunt d-dance and waterfall and it works a charm on many raids now

I've actually carried a few groups in Tera raids. Thankfully they focused on healing to keep me and themselves alive.

@@Masmix77 I switch it up between offense and support. Depends on what the other people are using. I see a lot of really bad choices for raids so I normally have to run a dps and hope they don't keep dying while I try to kill the boss.

The stat resets always happen on turn 8 and/or when time hits half Both of this can happen in the span of 1 turn, pretty weird to get your buffs nullified twice in 1 turn xD
