I love the real reason everyone was laughing in the lineup scene is because Benicia Del Toro ripped a fart for real, and they just kept that take for the movie.

I absolutely love the fact that Verbal tells Kujan that "If a guy gets killed and you think his brother did it, you're going to find out you're right" and it doesn't soak in. Kujan is so laser-focused on who he thinks did it that Verbal gets out of the building before it even occurs to him he _might_ be wrong.

One of the best movie twists of all time. I've seen this movie a bunch of times and even now, I picked up on tiny gems. The way Kaiser Soze held his gun in the beginning to kill Keaton was intended to stand out, because later in the movie, you see a couple of the suspects holding the gun like that, but not other times. It seemed too specific and inconsistent to be a filming oversight. So the movie used visual misdirection as a way to sell the narrative misdirection Verbal was giving to the police.
