Alaric died way too many times, so that's why he had and has black outs because his worst side or like Damon said Alter Ego is popping up...that ring and those deaths changed him, he is kinda psycho, one time he is okay and the other time the real him sleeps and his Alter Ego si waking up just like Samantha's ego did

I can understand why Rebekah would hate Elena for stabbing her in the back, but at the same time, I don't blame Elena at all for doing it. The first time they met. Rebekah attacked Elena and would have torn out her throat if Klaus hadn't stopped her. Elena has every reason to NOT trust Rebekah. I just really like how the show can do that, have you see two characters on opposite sides of a conflict and be able to understand both of them and not necessarily see either of them as "wrong"

Of course they took his ring off for the scan! That's an MRI! It is a massively big magnet that pulls with thousands of pounds of pressure. Anything metal is immediately getting ripped away. In a real scanner he wouldn't be allowed to wear street clothes either in case they had any metal.

Remember that after Damon killed Alaric, he woke up all anti-vampire and decidinf to join the founder's council.

I don’t think Ric came at her... she left the knife out to see if he’d pick it up and when he did she realized it was him and shot him and SAID he came at her and that was why she shot him. She had to tell a story so sheriff would detain him and then she forged the docs to get him out so sheriff could find another suspect and so she could help Ric get better cause she thinks more was going on which there is as we find out something is going on with the ring

Caroline is a very good friend. Bonnie is the best. And Elena... not so much

Alaric's storyline this season reminds me of Stiles' storyline in teen wolf

I really like your reflections as I have already mentioned but I have to make a note on Rebecca. It must be said that the only character in this series that I hate is Rebecca but beyond that I tried to see this character differently and understand her but I can't and I can't feel pity for her. I don't know how everyone sees Elena hurt for stabbing her when the beautiful Rebecca earlier this season entered Elena's life by helping Klaus kidnap her, Stefan, Caroline, Tayler etc. malradiating her, giving her a slap with the force of a vampire and just because Stefan fell in love with her and gave him her necklace among other things she was an accomplice to her brother when in reality who she had to be angry with was Klaus so what Elena did and Damon is doing now is little different than what she deserves. She used her vampire strength to hurt him, Elena being human her only weapon was to deceive her and basically stabbing her just wanted to stop her from reuniting with Klaus and help him given their toxic brotherly relationship and the weakness that Rebecca has for Klaus therefore neither a personal thing like Rebecca has it with ... I don't know why everyone forgets how bad she and Klaus did to Elena and how people feel sorry for Rebecca and Elena no. I understand that many like the originals and that is why they think that they have the right to hurt and that is why they are loved but it is inconsistent to think this, Rebecca and Klaus deserve to be treated badly, they are the ones who entered the lives of these guys and not the other way around and especially Elena.

Caroline is the only friend I ever want to have❤️
