The season were they were trapped in the prison world was one of my favorite seasons. I think they should've ended together.

#BAMONWASROBBED They should have been endgame. Although JP and CD wrote those desperate and transparent scripts of always making these two mention how they're "best friends" or constantly bring up Elena's name, like when he said he loved Bonnie, but yet had to add that part about "just like Elena did".🙄 Enzo was the last minute replacement for Damon because Plec and Dries...mostly Plec, where put on blast with questions from the fandom about Bonnie's horrible love life, and that when is she going to do like the books and put Bamon together. Plec said at a convention that Bonnie will get a new love interest but not Damon. She called the Bamon/Bonnie fans rabid. This coming from a woman who pandered to the Delena shippers, who were very aggressive, and invasive in the Bamon spaces...just to troll. We all know her and Dries are bigots/racists, and it showed throughout production and behind the scenes. Ian fought to get season 6 with him and Kat working together. He also threatened to quit if they fired Kat, after Plec and Dries wanted to off her for good. Even the execs said no...so they opted to reducing her airtime and any major story arcs about herself, killing her every other season, putting her through torturous pain, never showing her process her grief or have her friends spend time helping her process. They only bothered when they needed something from her. Stefan used to see about her, granted it's because he wanted her help, but he made sure to stop and check in with what's going on and to help with affection. Her so called besties couldn't be bothered. Damon even took the place of Elena, and that was even before the prison world..but definitely after. He was the only one actively championing for her and save her whenever she needed it...mostly from Kai. Bonenzo was beautiful, and even though they were quickly thrown together to shut the fans up, the actors did an amazing job with feeling the chemistry and love between them. I love the episode in season 7 when Damon gets jealous of them together. Those that love to hate on Bamon try their hardest to make excuses about him not being jealous but that he's thinking about Elena and how he wanted with her now, what Bonenzo had.😂 Kat has such great chemistry that she sparked too well with both Paul and Ian. But she was purposefully kept away from the Main 'A' male characters. Glad to see younger people seeing what I saw with Bamon and the mistreatment of Kat. As a black woman, people don't get that I experienced this show differently than they did, because it was blatantly put in my face, from the constant painful torture and death to all black people appearing on the show, to the none stop killing of them and abuse, plus neglect for Bonnie. I told a commenter that unlike them, I can't NOT notice the aggressive agenda, and I bet if they killed only blonde haired, blue eyed people they'd notice that pattern right away.
