You mean to tell me, that Nintendo isn't about to drop 4 Metroid games at the same time, same year, and same console? But Nintendo is mostly known for the love it gives Metroid, and how many versions we have and on every console

Echoes was the subtitle that was used for Fire Emblem 2's remake followed by the name Shadow of Valentia. With FE4 having this rumored remake the title would make sense, Jugdral is the name of the continent that FE4 (Genealogy of the Holy War) takes place on, like how Valentia is the continent that FE2 takes place on.

For the longest time now all i wanted for nintendo was to port Xenoblade X, windwaker, twilight princess and metroid prime trilogy over to switch. And this leak is edging me so damn hard but it's so damn hard to believe

"Echoes" was the subtitle they used for the last Fire Emblem remake (The remake of Fire Emblem 2 that they released on the 3ds), it would be consistent, and the title has to do with the SNES FE games. With it being the end of the Switches life cycle, that would line up with how they handled the 3DS Fire Emblem releases (Maybe lines up a little too perfectly tbch) The COD collection is the one that really feels like it's off the mark. Unless they do Black Ops 1 and 2 only? And maybe only the Single Player? They've done that with the old Modern Warfare games on PS4 and Xbox One. idk man, it's possible. After the disaster that was MW3, they might very well just roll out ports of older COD games this year, rather than a brand new title, and give the devs another year on the next mainline title. Plus Microsoft would absolutely want to profit as much as they can after their acquisition of Activision. There have been talks of Metroid Prime 2 & 3 ports coming to the switch. Not remakes, just ports, because of the dev costs and time the remake of Metroid Prime took. I've heard the sources on this are really reliable, but there's a chance they could end up dropping it. Metroid: Samus Returns could absolutely come to Switch. The team that made it, originally made the Castlevania: Lords of Shadows 3DS game, which they quickly rolled out an HD port of on PSN and XBLA. The team should be able to do that conversion quickly, especially after making Dread. I know the Metroid stuff is a little hard to believe, but Prime Remastered and Dread performed way beyond expectations, so them greenlighting some smaller port projects like this does make a certain kind of sense. Market it as the "year of metroid", and throw them out to the people, get mad profit. Do I believe this "leak"? No, not really. But all things considered, it's not totally out of the realm of possibility.

I think these leaks are just fanboy fantasies. Personally I don’t expect much exciting this year. Since Nintendo merged its handheld and console divisions, the switch is everything and the success of the successor console is vital. They are going to kick it off next year with a star studded array of games probably half of the games you mentioned plus a Mario game and maybe a new Pokemon. I think they are going to use software to drive the new hardware.
