3 prunes every day or every other day work for me and I don’t dump. I can eat small beef ribs. Salads don’t agree with me. I’ve lost 70 pounds 7 months. Goal another 35 pounds. My weight slow down to about 1 pound a week. I feel so much better. Best thing I ever done. I have so much energy.

This really pulled on my heartstrings. I told my mother a couple of weeks ago that I wish my grandma was here to see me after I lose the weight. I’ve always struggled with my weight and I just wish she could see the me I believe she always knew was inside. Congratulations on one year on the loser’s bench!

Girl im crying with you! Whew Father God. You're amazing... I can relate to your videos💜 I'm 16 days post op and I'm nauseous everyday, it's hard to get my fluids in everything (taste wise) has changed & I just don't know what to do. I can drink cold Gatorade zero berry flavor... but its a struggle for everything else. I'm praying for better days! 😔

Having surgery has been such a mental struggle. I am at 4 months and I feel like I am behind. It’s almost an obsession. But it is still one of the best decisions I have made. It’s definitely a marathon. I struggle with mental hunger.

At that stage I felt I was eating SO much and that I was never going to be able to lose weight. I also felt behind. Keeping real track of what you’re eating really helped me to see that I wasn’t behind, that the sleeve was working and that I was on the right track.

I have got to tell you. That you have done wonderful but I've also got to tell you that I don't have much space at all and wherever it is you put your surgery because many many of the things that you are saying you wish you would have known or things that should have been told to you in the seminar and in the process long before you had that surgery done. It was part of the several times that I had to go to meet with the nurse, the psychologist, the surgery and other times I had to go in before I was approved. And as far as the food addiction any other addiction, that does not go away and that is something you should have known like an addict is an addict in recovery as long as they are using the tools to stay clean whether it is from a drug alcohol sex or food.. I'm proud of you for getting out there all the information that you have been giving two people. My surgery will be 10 years ago April 13th. But like I said the surgery center that I had my surgery done in New York almost everything that you were stating that you wish you would have known was Maine known to us

Hi Kelsie... I'm not sure how or why you popped up in my feed. I'm just going to call it Confirmation about what I'm going through emotionally physically and mentally. On March 21,2005 I underwent Gastric Bypass Surgery. On Surgery day I stood 5'9 305 lbs confident and alone. Having Surgery I thought was the best decision I made for myself. I ended my plateau weight at 162 lbs. Then the health issues came on. I've had so many injuries it's pathetic. I'm going to say this stay focused. Today I'm at a very uncomfortable weight. I tried to get revision but was denied.Do whatever it takes to get to your desired goal. It's a struggle

THANK YOU SO MUCH for being so open and for making this video. I've had this video sitting in my watch later list since I first decided to have surgery. Tomorrow is my surgery, and let me tell you, I NEEDED to hear this so badly. I knew I was making the right decision for my health, but I was sooo scared about all the lifestyle changes that i will be making and if I'm going to lose the best parts of me in the process. I'm not as scared anymore because you told me it gets easier, it gets better, and that I will be happier than I ever thought possible. That I wont feel the need to constantly hide myself anymore. Thank you for saying exactly what I needed to hear. I am currently that broken, beatdown, lost soul, stepping into surgery. Thank you, thank you, thank you for giving me the courage to not back out and to embrace the scary changes that will transform me mentally and physically into the beautiful butterfly I am meant to be. ❤

What happens is that people don’t mentally and physically prepare until it’s time for the 2 week pre-op diet. If anyone is considering Gastric Sleeve or Gastric Bypass Surgery; I suggest that your start pull away from toxic food now. If you are due for a Colonoscopy, get it out of the way before your Surgery. Also eat fiber vegetables.

How are you now? Did you have surgery in the states
@brittneyj87
@brittneyj87 8 месяцев назад
@@cupcakepatrice8418 Hi! My surgery was in the states in March 2022 and I had nothing but problems so I had to have it reversed in Oct 2022. I was unable to keep down food or water the entire time, and on the verge of getting a feeding tube before my dr decided to reverse it, because I almost died. I also got an ulcer which they had to cut out when they reversed my surgery, and due to the surgery I’m unable to take ibuprofen ever again, so I’m actually getting a hysterectomy next month because I have severe cramps and fibroids which can’t be manage without nsaids. It sucks because I’m 36 with no kids, but hey life happens. I lost 125 pounds in the 7 months I was sick, and have gained 55 back, so now I’m a gym rat and watch my diet to lose more, and manage naturally. I have bone and muscle damage that hasn’t gone away, so I focus on strength building, and my gerds is worse than before the surgery. I wish the surgery worked out for me, but it didn’t, and I found lots of info and groups with people who had similar or worse experiences, most not having issues until 10 years out. So just do your research as best as you can, and exhaust every option you can before deciding on it, because it’s definitely life changing! I pray it works well for you if you do it! And I pray no one else has to suffer like I did! ❤

I’m crying. 😢. I’m just trying to decide to go through the surgery. My doctor suggested because of medical reasons and wants me to have it soon. I don’t know what to do, I’m so scared. But I think you made me make my decision. Thank you for your honesty.

I can relate!! I had a stall from August to October 2021. Well, I started a different job and boy did the pounds start just falling off all over again. The job is physical and you're up on your feet for the 9 hours you're there. Not to mention that I went from overnights to dayshft which meant I am sleeping 7 nights a week vs the 3 I was getting sleep before October 2021.

You are right about the things you think about when you're bigger. Alot of times i don't even go do stuff iny backyard because i feel so fat and self conscious about what the neighbors could think. 😔😔

Eventually the constipation goes away if you eat lots of apples and fruit. Try going on a liquid diet of protein drinks and water for a few days a week for a couple months it will jumpstart the weightloss.

I'm currently in the bariatric program and have a couple more things to do before I get a surgery date, however I'm still debating on getting the surgery. I mainly want to do it to see if it can get me off the steroids i have to take 2x daily for adrenal deficiency. My biggest fear is that i do the sleeve and lose a lot hopefully 100+ lbs but end up having complications from the surgery and or gaining what I lost back and having that mental disappointment. Is it normal to have these fears? I'm looking forward to the pros as well like going upstairs without struggling and losing my breath and having to stop to catch my breath, having room between my stomach and the steering wheel, wearing smaller sizes and not paying extra for plus size clothes. I'm just so torn though at this point. Please pray that God can help me choose the best decision for me. You're video helped me so thank you for that!
