My surgery date is 7/9/2024 three days away and I want to thank you so much for this video your the only one that have touched on this and i cried right with you thank you so much because it made me feel so much better and reading the comment I know I’m not alone with the fears and worrying so again thank you so much for you transparency
I gave up a few times when they kept rescheduling things on me. I told the dietitian this and was 100% honest on what I’ve been eating and she was like; yeah I’m not even going to reevaluate you until a month from now when she sees that I’m eating 3 meals a day, high protein, trying out protein shakes, and logging my meals on Baritastic and walking more, etc. bc I wasn’t even doing any of that. I take accountability l. I will do this though. One meal at a time.
I’ve been on my Bariatric journey for almost 1yr. This video is the story of my life. I was all diagnosed with PCOS. And all of the things you mentioned I’ve experienced leading me to surgery. I’m scheduled for 7.29.24 but this is my second date. I was scheduled before for 2.6.24 but insurance changes delayed my process. With a new company now with much better options and bariatric support. My daughter has been trying to convince me to start a channel and share my journey. And today you light the flame. Thank you for being so strong and bold!
I gained 6 pounds and started worrying, I have gone back to basic of what the original diet plan was. I will ask for phentermine to help me lose the last stubborn pounds.
I would have liked a visual showing what my internal stomach looked like before and after surgery to reinforce serving size and been warned about missing the emotional tie to food. I really felt I was in mourning
I definitely understand your pain. I am 3 years post op and trying to have a baby. Ive been pregnant 3 times but every pregnancy has ended in miscarriage. I am now seeing a fertility specialist and I have to say that the experience has been SO MUCH BETTER than I expected. I've learned so much about my body and reproductive system. So if I could give you any advice It would be DO NOT WAIT. Go see a fertility specialist. They are completely different from a OBGYN. They run different test,do different bloodwork and really try their best to make your dream come true. Also I was worried about the cost and my insurance has paid for EVERYTHING. God bless you Girlfriend 🙏🏾
Thank you for this video! Looking at surgery in the next 30 to 60 days. Also having a hiatal hernia repair at the same time. You offered advice i have also not seen anywhere else.
No need to curse God. I know you may not know that’s what did, but you should ask the Lord for forgiveness for saying his name along with a curse word and delete it.
I am so happy I found your channel. I’ve been diagnosed with PCOS since I was 16 and really struggled with weight and I am doing the surgery for the same reasoning. Thank you for sharing
Heyyy!!! I have pcos and I had WLS oct 2021. You can get pregnant! PCOS doesn’t go away with wls- you have to track your ovulation everyday. I would suggest testing twice a day. That’s what I did and also do a diabetic meal plan. I had my first baby after WLS!
On day 4 of my liquid diet....I'm so weak and irritable with headaches. I have diarrhea and not a loud meat or fish. No meals. Just up to 5 cups of restricted veggies...🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴🥴
