This app is preventing PC shutting down- Window 10 

Hi, even I got this error while shutting down my laptop, but my doubt is, are these apps some kind of virus or third party apps which is tracking my system, once I got error like "monitor" is preventing shutdown.

I have the same problem, I tried your method, it didn't help, I don't have other programs in startup, I reinstalled the nvidia driver, . I had this before, then it disappeared, but now I see this message again this message

It work for me my problem is *"Virtualbox interface"* and i tried it work well

Does this method create any issue afterwards like with windows update or anything

After I changed the zero to 1 .. I shotdown my pc and still have this app preventing issue!! Did I miss something?

Hey guys, For me the problem was in this application called utorrent. If you guys also have it then please, stop it from auto startup and the problem should go away or see this thread "www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t/690060/app-g-is-preventing-shutdown/" and follow the links on that thread. They should do the trick.
