Welcome to episode #14 of Noobs in disguise. Your 7th favourite starcraft II duo lambo and harstem are back to give you some insane Noob in disguise action. Email for replays: Harambosc2@gmail.com
I get hatch-blocked by Protoss at least 20-30% of the time in D3 in NA. They're probably not effectively capitalizing on it the way a GM would, but I'm also probably getting thrown off by it a lot more than a higher level player, so it's still effective I think (and annoying for me!)
yeah, i know how to play 1 build. And if enemy blocks my hatch, or nexus, i have to instantly start freestying xD And im also diamond 3 in EU. So blocks are allways good for the enemy :/
I'm plat 1 and I normally try and get the block off in pvz, I doubt I capitalize on it that much but throwing the opponent off is completely worth it. If someone gets a hatch block off on me then I've also just gotta freestyle it and hope I pull it off.
I'm Plat 2/3 EU. I often face hatch blocks from stronger opponents. It normally doesn't do much to me (I just take the 3rd), but it's annoying, and the games tend to still be hard.
@@tomas3034 If you think a 3-4k player has even a fraction of the macro, decision making or micro skills you are delusional. Also the zerg coordinated the drops with distractions which just does not happen in 4k mmr.
@@Name-ru1kt Well. Everyone has a bad day on ladder. I had miserable games, where I rewatch the game and feel like, it could be platinum. (Probably besides the build order and the macro) Sometimes I am not quite ready for stuff and also no one is doing these drops. Normally you don't scout for them. And when you notice, you are getting rekt. You rather focus on the final push instead of sth at home. In these situations every second matters. And not being a pro, not losing alot of of time dealing with stuff like this is usual. Also you lose focus. Not everyone has 400 APM at 5k. So, surely it was horrible and all. But sometimes you set up different (wrong) priorities making you look foolish. I bet, most people laughing about stuff like this happening aren't even close to 5k. And they pretend. In diamond, I would have noticed. Why aren't you 5k? Mechanics? Then, why isn't he allowed to have great mechanics and slow responses. Not like there is any rule, that is saying, if you are 5k you are not allowed to not respond to stuff... I saw pro level games, where Zerg and Terran lost the whole mineral line not focussing on it to 8 upgraded lings, because they focussed on the attack. I get, what you are saying. Game losing mistake. I agree. Deserves to lose yes. But 5k is still better than most of us, that is why we should keep our mouth closed on bashing those. Everyone has different strength in life and as well as a computer game. The arrogance of talking about missteps really hurts me.
Bronze: knows basically nothing Silver: knows basic unit functionality Gold: knows basic counters Platinum: knows basic openings Diamond: can pull off a build order properly Master: can macro and micro at the same time Grandmaster: is good at the game
I get hatch blocked about 80% of ZvPs in D3/D2 EU, so there's that. 15 Hatch into a two base speedroach timing has been a bit of a favourite of mine because of that.
Everything those 2 guys did seemed so off, i couldnt imagine this beeing over 4k mmr. I can only imagine both beeing completly overwhelmed with the situation and never playing a game that didnt went standart.
Hatch blocks are way stronger at lower level imo. At a high level you can utilise how spread the bases are to have slightly better harrass. At low level the Zerg probably just completely fucked their build order *and* the queens are going to be minutes out of position.
Based on no response to the drops I guessed significantly lower MMR. Very weird seeing 5k players having such a hard time dealing with that. I guessed ~4k
@@peekaboo6168 No at 3.5k mmr you would have never lost 0 probes to the lings, you would have never had the attention to micro the adepts at the same time, you would not have had a second tight build order, you would not have had the same level of macro, not have had this prism micro, not have had these forcefields, significantly worse decision making. I really don't get how a 3.5k player could ever think they play like this. These players would demolish 3.5ks while barely losing any units with a troll strat.
@@peekaboo6168 I bet anything you can't pull off the warp prism micro or multi-pronged zergling attacks shown here at the same time as macroing and not getting supply blocked.
