They are calling this a 2 bedroom.. But I see a 1 bedroom with home office or den....The lack of a window in that smaller room means I could never consider that a bedroom...

I don’t know about Arizona but in NY a bedroom is considered illegal if there is no window. (Or a least another door that gives access to the outside). They will list that small room as an “office” or something like that, in order to get around it.

$1,200 to live in a dingy apt in a bad part of town, no thank you. It "works" if you are an ex-con or just surviving with a low-paying job and have no other options.

My family relocated to Phoenix from Upstate NY back in the early 60’s. First my mom’s sister and her family and then we moved out there. My cousin was the FIRST BLACK Anchor man and youngest in Phoenix when he graduated from Carl Hayden H.S.. My family moved back to NYS in the early 70’s and he’s been in Baltimore Md.. for years now. He just retired last week after 52 years. I miss Phoenix especially in the winter and really miss all those Mexican restaurants. We don’t have them like THAT here. I really enjoy these videos. So much had changed!

Whoever owns that place needs to go the extra mile and change those disgusting light switch and outlet covers. They look just as old as the unit. Also the brown around the doors dates it. The floor is nice. But they also need to refinish the bottom of the bathtub or the whole damn thing because it's dirty. It may have been cleaned but it's still dirty. It ain't the worst place but needs a few updates especially the bathroom fixtures in the sink

I'm surprised someone would rent a place like that with a working fireplace. So many ways to mess up building a fire in a fireplace. I mean even burning the wrong kind of wood can make an expensive mess. Thanks for the tour, Mr. Super.

I lived there in 2012/2013 it looks way better then back in the day and having food city/ranch market makes it way better to have more conveniently priced stores nearby back then it was not as good an area and having a quick trip may make it worse now but having the barred doors and closed area before you get to the car port is a plus. Looks very updated and nicer but even when I lived there people barely swam in the pool ( people would get nasty) Used to be an NA/AA meeting place in the front next to arbys but even back then wasn't that bad walking around and such. The roaches I think is more of an issue at night and I rarely had roach issues back then. Thanks for sharing and I did like this place overall and my bestie lived five condos down and we didn't have bad issues back then. Hope everyone had a nice holiday! Cheers!

Big Super you should point out that the bedrooms had light switches on the wall . Majority of apartment's/ homes does not have. Most provide your own lamps/ lighting

I read somewhere that a bedroom a legal bedroom has to meet two requirements. A window and a closet. They probably have to lock up the pool so just anybody cannot come in. Great job! When are you going to show a Scottsdale house? LOL

This is a better unit than the last one for $1100. Still too much for me. What I could see everything looks pretty well kept up.

Any of you guys that think paying $1200 for that is a lot, doesn't know Phoenix. That is a working class lower middle income area. For an average 2 bedroom here that is modern you are looking at OVER $2000 a month.

I think I viewed this complex some years ago if not there's a similar one not far from this one, it was for sale and it had an associate which i was apprehensive about taking on because I was trying to keep cost down going into retirement in a few years because I knew fees increase over time so i said no, the one I saw also had garages, thank you Big Super good job.

Messa Az the place where ppl live in Campers & RV's .they have to be self contained - no hook ups so u need solar and composting toilet seat up. Winds up being 25 a mth.

My BFF lived near there on Dunlap and 35th ave. It was always a little ghetto. She paid like 30K back in the late 90's great starter place. We both worked at Metro Center and it was so close to work. We could get anywhere in 30 mins because its close to the freeway. We were in our 20's. We would party at Bobby McGee's then drive through the neighborhood home. I love her condo

I am constantly amazed at the type of stores in the lower income neighborhoods... Especially the title loan stores.. There was a Starbucks, that's interesting...🥺The metal bars on doors and windows is essential..The fruit trees add a wholesome vibe..The cabinet doors needed hardware to prolong the clean look..Are smoke detectors and fire extinguisher required by code..

It's kind of nice but don't care for the area- too much traffic. Don't like the barred doors or sliding doors for entrance. though would need them there. A bit concerning the lower outside wall off the bedroom patio. Hate roach issues. The price is too high for all that. Thanks for bringing us these videos. Haven't seen anything I can afford, unfortunately.

It's also a minimalists dream My only criticism is that hideous fireplace, that overpowers the room. If it has to be there at all it should be painted white. Thanks for sharing.

I grew up in that neighborhood. Back in the 90’s there was a Circle K where either the QT or market is now located. My friends and I would do beer runs at the Circle K and cut through the condo complex to a waiting car. Fortunately we outgrew that nonsense

I wonder what genius developer hired that lame architect to design a home with the exit to the patio in the master bedroom? Also, there must have been a special on patio sliding glass doors when these units were built and the budget was set. And don't get me started on the black iron gates on the front doors. The only redeeming thing in that community are the fruit trees. It appears to be a decent place as far as flooring and paint. You are such a well liked guy, everyone seems to welcome you.
