@@planescaped nintendo actually doesnt force devs to censor their games. when the bayo team was making cross over skins nintendo actually told them to make the skins sexier. though nintendo of america does do a bit more censorship with their own games like with fire emblem
Ik its very nice, but it's overshadowed by the people who say "omg naked woman", if it were guy characters (still doesn't need to get butt naked) I'd still think the game is cool, monsters are intriguing and the world is greatly designed
They really are. I remember when the N64/PlayStation came out and I was blown away by those graphics. Of course they are nothing compared to what has been been achieved by modern day graphics.

I thought the same thing about the voice acting until you get a little further and realize thats the feel they're going for. Like a dark, depressed everyone is sad the world is over kind of feel. No happy go lucky bubbly characters here, once you realize that the voice acting is actually flawless IMO. They capture the depressed down and out feeling pretty good like FF16 did.
Charlie I don't really know how to get ahold of you so I'm paying to get this to you but there's something you and some other big youtubers should really look into and expose. There is a youtuber called Vipa on here who's entire channel is fortnite content for kids where hes just sitting there having them guess what fortnite skins he doesnt own for vbucks. Except he only awknowledges ones that he does own so he never actually gives away anything. The worst part is he constantly says things 'Like oh no way someones gonna donate a red 50 right now chat?!?! and actually holds his phone up to screen showing kids how to donate money when they are more than likely using their parents phones. This is disgusting its legit panhandling, begging, scamming to children. Worst of all I've started seeing other people copying his trend if he isn't just copying someone else. I don't know if you'll see this but something needs to be done about this or at the least expose the assholes for the monsters they are.
What you can do to kinda get his attention is summarize this comment into a smaller quicker one for him to read and make a donation when he's live so that way he'll see it and read it and look into it

If you think about Sifu's fighting system, it has a lot of potential for a multitude of games. If they take the same formula and incorporate bending, jutsu, Nen attacks, cursed energy attacks, etc instead of the focus they could create many new games. They could keep the widened version of the 3rd person free camera angle, incorporate faster movement, flips or different dodge animations for sidestepping/backstep, and X/A would be a dedicated jump button. Also, to account for the d-pad, they could incorporate a system similar to Horizon forbidden west where healing, a mount, and other tools dedicated to the game could be placed. If the tool being used is a projectile, because R1 is the dedicated button for throwing in Sifu, R1 could also be used for projectiles not included in combos. Activation of any technique would require the player to hold L2/LT as that is the "focus" or technique button. Special techniques can be activated by pressing L2/LT and O/B as O/B is the button used for picking up weapons and is idle while the player does not have one. Bending, jutsu, Nen attacks, cursed energy attacks, and other attacks can be changed by pressing L2/LT and the d-pad. While the dodging system is great it can be taken out to only use the block, stamina, and parry system. For extra movement and combat options double/triple taps and button holds can be used and for mounted combat controls should remain the same for versatility while alone or with a mount/companion. With this base for a control scheme multiple games could be familiar making it easier for players transfer games comfortably while also maintaining skill. The potential for combos, intense boss battles, and immense exploration is endless!!!
I found it funny that after the Beta bit, Charlie got attacked and killed by what he called "bitch". I guess repelling them is easier than fighting them.
Dubs feeling low energy/bored has been a thing for like ever. Both games and anime are prime examples in and of themselves. Yeah you get good ones and charming ones, but there is way more low effort feeling or mediocre at best ones. You start to notice that normally great voice actors give extremely lackluster/bad performances. I really have to wonder about the voice director sometimes. There is a reason subs are generally considered better than dubs. But then just the right thing gets a jank ass feeling dub that makes it even better.
I really don't know what it is, I think the issue is that dub voice actors often need to record in a much shorter time frame, as sometimes they are only just hearing the script as the JP episode is airing, so they don't get a chance to discuss the script with the original writers. Sometimes the stars align and you get lucky, like the toradora dub where the voices are perfect, or you get shows like cyberpunk edgerunners where the teams work closely together so the dub ends up having a focus put into it for release rather than releasing a week or 2 after your usual airing anime. As for games, I have no idea, again probably just with dubbing being low priority so less quality checks and whatnot.
I could sit and watch you go through games for hours.....when I was a kid my older brother would never let me play the playstation.....so for hours I would sit and watch him play final fantasy 7 and metal gear solid....and at that time I hated it....I wanted to play so bad....but now that I'm older I've found out that I enjoy just watching gameplay....almost takes me back to childhood.

All jiggles aside, it's unironcally one of the best soulslikes not made by fromsoft out there. The cake is just icing on the cake, lets put it that way
I haven't finished it yet, but I've been enjoying my time with it. I wouldn't say it's a soulslike though. People are far too quick to call any game with checkpoints and a replenishing heal item soulslikes.
