I’m laughing because this is a normal puppy! Crate idea is awesome! I would also redirect with a fun toy, or put him on a leash and train a calm sit when mom comes down. But, it all takes time. Puppies are wild! Just stay the course, and they will be just fine. My baby has SUCH good manners now! Thanks German shepherd man! You help so many people!!!

Super normal. Mine was a damn piranha for the longest, even WITH the high pitch yip training, bumping, you name it. As she got older, it turns out she just has a love for soft objects, above and beyond even a normal dog. She's very good about not gnawing holes in things or the like, just enjoys the "feel" of things. Loves textures. Just had to temper the bite enthusiasm and she's good now.

I have one like you described. She is 13 weeks old and loves the texture of two fabric toys she has. She shows love with her mouth and it is difficult to distract her, but necessary...

Lol they “feed” off our energy! Mine just get a calm voice “good morning “ short pet on the head and nothing more. 5 GSDs here from age 10 weeks to 3 years. Great advice sir!! Always enjoy your “down to earth” advice!

GSM, This is such great information. Thank you for sharing. Our Bella used to be like this; however, she does settle from her high-energy state. I'm looking forward to August when I welcome one of the GSM babies into our home. It was nice chatting with you yesterday! I've learned so much from you, and it's appreciated. (OT)

Good morning, German Shepherd Man, oh my word! We had a neighbor who had a dog that was also named, Diesel😉 Ha! Ha! Diesely, love the new twist to Diesel's name🙂 Our former neighbor's dog, Diesel actually lived across the street from my family. Unfortunately, the Dieself I knew was kind of allowed to roam all over the place😬 Oh well, what's done is done now😉 On another note: you need to do another video on Sergeant's and Ruby's newest litter of puppies. I bet they have probably grown quite a bit. Besides, I miss "seeing" Ruby😉😊🥰😍🤩❤
