So lucky, every (super)market in Holland/The Netherlands sells them. I love to season them with spices made for chicken and bake or airfry them. I use them a lot.

I came back to let you know I made this for my New Year's dinner, and it was a hit. I didn't tell my family they were mushrooms until mid dinner. But they loved them. I don't like mushrooms but I'm getting used to them the more I use them in my dishes. ❤

I am 52 years old and have been eating fried mushrooms of all kinds along with my entire family all of my life and dating back 80 plus years ( We actually harvest/gather/hunt wild mushrooms of all kinds) and not until recent years of this new "to many" vegan explosion have I ever had anyone refer to them as fried chicken or a fried chicken substitute. They're just fried mushrooms. Enjoy them. However you want but they're not a chicken substitute. Not even chicken of the woods.

Well I help people who are not vegan transition plus I’m surrounded by non vegans so I guess I have to mention the similarities between the two for people transitioning to understand 🤔
