The complaining about "dropped inputs" really annoys me. I play the PSN versions too and have no issues at all.

Sometimes I wish I was an ignorant buffoon who had special people come into stream chat and do a thankless job by being my personal strategy guide so I can get paid for "beating" the game, but then I quickly realize I would have to be DSP. I have a few things to say here: 1. How sad is it that this person has been playing games for a LIVING for how many years, and he still sucks at games. Granted, sucking at games isnt necessarily bad for entertainment, which is what hes doing, but its his attitude that sucks. If he lost with grace, then i would have more respect 2. How sad is it that he clearly hates his job, hes just trying to get through it as fast as possible, not taking his time or enjoying himself. Part of the reason why that game has so much content is to reward players who are curious, who want an extra challenge after beating the game normally. Going for 100% your first try and just looking up where all the secrets are defeats the point. Crash 2 is a game that rewards exploration and curiosity and yet phil doesnt bother trying to discover anything himself. One of the best feelings ever as a gamer is finding a secret on accident, but i guess phil wont ever know that feeling because of stream chat. 3. How sad is it that this guy plays games for a living, but has stream chat do alot of his job for him. This is why hes bad at games btw, he cant find things and remember things on his own, and stream chat just makes this worse by not ever forcing phil to remember something 4. How sad is it that a grown man cant admit his mistakes, this is something people teach children for a reason. You want to hear something funny, im horrible at video games. I die alot in games, and its (9 times out of 10) my fault for not being good enough. This isnt me being humble, its me being honest. The games i do practice ALOT at, or replay alot, i am good at. If you are terrible at video games, and want to be good at a particular game, then practice. Im good(or at least somewhat good) at tekken because i practice alot, though i do suck when i go more than a few weeks without practice. I can go through MGS 3 on European extreme pretty easily now that ive beaten it so many times. I can beat vanquish on the hardest difficulty without too much trouble. Im really good at super stardust HD's endless mode, and there are others too. I have actually beaten dark souls over 40 times and can now beat it in 5 hours, not because im naturally good at the game, but because i played the hell out of it to get good. Dedication is the name of the game, if you care about getting good. I will say this to LPers who suck at games, unless you are going for the "omg i suck at games, lol" thing, and actually want to put up a playthrough that shows off the game well, then beat the game a few times before recording and talking over the game, or just play it, edit out the deaths and do commentary after the games recorded. If you put effort in your videos, you will be rewarded, dont be lazy like phil.

I think he is the only person who dies a lot from falling into the background or foreground. He's not kidding when he says he can't get the depth perception, but that's on him, not the game.

hmm.. what happened to him in Crash Bandicoot 2. in the first one, even though it was incredibly acted, he seemed happier, now he is just DepressedSydePhil.

D-did he just use delay as an excuse...for Crash Bandicoot xD? 3-5 year olds handle this game better than a mid 30's adult...*shakes head* .

And do you know what annoys me the most in this playthrough? He blames the D-Pad for his mistakes. Sure the analog stick is the better choice for the most part (too bad they left it out in digital version for some reason), but I actually prefer the D-Pad, especially for the side-scrolling parts!

His fans are like legion to him. They are one person, yet everyone at the same time. Whenever he gets too much criticism from half of his fans (while the other half says stay the course), he assumes them to be one person and that they're being inconsistent. But when he gets help from one person (i.e. reading comments from specific people like meme), then he refers to the help as "peepul are saying".

Actually, you can reach the boxes in Road to ruin's secret path from the normal path. You just have to nail a perfect slide jump and hop from the side of the platform, which is really damn hard. Great job with this video!

What's most impressive is that he just could have opened a Bandipedia tab and read from there all the information whilst playing. There is literally everything he wants to know, even things like "Number of boxes in Bonus" and so he wouldn't need to be so stupid like in 18:20.

The bonuses in this game are literally easier with no analog, since they're left and right only. Pretty difficult to fall off the front of the stage with a dpad

I don't really get why I keep torturing himself just by watching Phil's playthroughs. Regardless though, good job as always, man. If Phil dares to play Crash 3 (and even goes the completionist route AGAIN), there's no doubt that our childhoods will be shattered.

While the death route was difficult in Cold Hard Crash, I don’t think I struggled as much as Phil did and I played it on a PSP.

what a lot of people don't know, Philbert was right. When Crash was coming out, the third dimension hadn't been discovered yet so they tried to make it a 2D game but since crash tends to move on his own and is suicidal, the game fell victim to bugged sentient A.I. mechanics and was actually downscaled to 1.7D. Not only is it not a true 3D game but it isn't even a true 2D game. You go Phil. Oh ever so wise one. Not a lot of people could have noticed that.

The "delay" could've PROBABLY been solved by tuning TV to Game Mode (he wouldn't know that anyway).

It took him 15 minutes to go from "I'm gonna spray this bug" to "Okay we're back". No hopes. Huh, okay. I'll give the stream chat (or maybe DSP? fuck if I know :V) some credit - I didn't know there was an extra area at 25:00 with some free 1-ups. Also, "this is a _fair game_" said after all the "inconsistent" game mechanics, "delayed" input controls, and five-fucking-hundred deaths. I'd ask how this guy is still popular, but then I remember that I just watched an edited clip-show of his innumerate deaths.

I've never seen the game over screen in any Crash game, so that was an experience
