What's dark is all the stuff she did and hid from her audience. A man who did a fraction of that would be in jail, which shows how unevenly the genders are treated by the legal system.

When a man asks for help it means "assist me with this task". When a woman asks a man for help it means "do this for me". If that fails coercion follows; shaming, guilt, tears, threats, etc.

My son was targeted by false allegations years ago. A girl at school didn’t like him and so she wrote a ‘grape’ threat to herself, signed his name on it, and snap-chatted it to her friends and mom. Her mom screenshotted the fabricated note and sent it to the school. My son got sent home from school as a knee-jerk reaction, pending the school’s investigation. In the end I proved to the Vice Principal that my son didn’t write the note, the accuser was proven guilty of fabricating it, and she received a three day suspension. I brought the police in to open a case and document that my son was falsely accused. If I hadn’t proved his innocence, my son would likely have been expelled.

She came out of nowhere After abandoning baby (It was the best thing for the child for sure) But she came into picture Child age 5 via family court / juvenile court bc she was claiming she was financially responsible for child I had to PAY TO PROVE I was the father and only Active parent So once that was figured out She went around crying to everyone Including politicians , And they actually bought it Shockingly 3 years of a “custody” battle One sued judge recused, Brand new man hating judge brought in Gave mother custody after 8 years of me raising child … Oh yeah They took all my money in the process So they will take your child And leave you : HOMELESS HELPLESS HOPELESS THEY WILL TAKE IT ALL

Years ago, I saw a PBS doc about human development and they talked about a series of experiments involving pre-verbal toddlers. In one such experiment, they placed the child on one side of a gate and its mother on the other. The boys would either use big blocks to build a staircase to get to their moms or look for a latch or opening in the gate or simply try to knock the gate over. If none of that worked, they'd finally throw their hands up and go off to play with the scattered toys on their side of the fence. The little girls, however, universally stood there and screamed their heads off until their mothers couldn't take it anymore and picked them up. Even THEN...

I've been a single dad for 8 years now. My birthday each year is just me and my young daughter... what a blessing.

The problem is that, while there are more women’s spaces than ever, most men’s spaces have been given up or taken over by women. Rotary, Lions, Kiwanis, the Boy Scouts are all now for both men and women. Even the local men’s bowling league has women or is run by women.

My God, i only just got news this morning one of my distant friends , a father of 2 young kids, has been diagnosed with cancer only few months ago , and his wife shortly after finding out pressed him for divorce proceedings. usually i thought these clips here on RU-vid are somewhat scripted to get views- but my heart sank twice today. Lord have mercy.

The way my first wife could turn the tears on and off like a faucet left me with a healthy scepticism when I see a woman crying, especially about anything "ex" related. I also don't call anybody when I feel like I'm losing it...

That's an important lesson right there: Just because a women is crying doesn't mean her sob story is true.

It makes me immediately roll my eyes for two reasons: she took time to film herself, and a vast majority of single moms are self-made.

My first instinct is NOT to immediately trust a woman who is crying.

Women talk to each other about their problems and are no better for it. Men mostly have no one who cares, and, if nothing else, are stronger because we have to rely on ourselves.

If your girlfriend don't want to nurture you as a boyfriend, when you are ill or injured etc., she will not care about your children either. She is not wife material.

Tears are the first manipulation they learn and never give up

When I had been married just a few years, my wife and I were visiting her parents (overseas), and I got a stomach bug that knocked the stuffing out of me. My wife got rather angry about this and I explained to her mother that my wife took my getting sick as a personal insult to her. When she got sick, I was far more caring, but that almost never was reciprocated. Coming up to 40 years married, I have to live in a different state for work (she has a small business), so I don't get home very often, and it no longer feels like home to me. I've been living and working away from home for 9 years of the marriage (6 years on the current stint, and all in small spaces), she has always had the family home. She blocked me from buying a house where I work. Next month is my birthday, and it will be the eighth consecutive one I've had alone. I've never mentioned this to anyone before. I'm a man, so why would anyone be sympathetic? I suppose it's all my fault, too.

The women in my family always do stuff like this to manipulate everyone. Growing up in that's environment, I don't believe or feel any emotion when a woman or man is in danger or crying.

Random girl cried late at night at a station. I was waiting as well - gave her a tissue and ignored her. Didn't even wait for a "thank you", hadn't asked what's wrong - nothing. That was my help. Enough.

My narcissistic ex used to take pictures of herself all teared up, and sent them to me for some reason. Absurd behavior.

It's so hilarious how these chicks will go to all the trouble setting up a tripod and framing a shot just to show themselves crying. How many times did she check it and test it and re-shoot it before she got it perfect? Nobody's buying it anymore.

All this is true, and meanwhile mainstream medicine, psychology, and media just keeps saying "men need to ask for help more". It's infuriating.

My father gave me a lot of support. When my girlfriend broke up with me, he called me and cried out of compassion. When I was little, a guy scared me on the street. My father threw a large stone at him in my presence. He was crazy and that was good.

As a 54 yr old man I totally agree with this. It is who we are daily. I always remind my son I am there for him and stay involved. I hope you have one out there too. Encourage each other, stay strong and have a good one!

Funny. I'm a man divorced with 5 kids. In 13 years it happened once I had the kids for my birthday. Never cried, never thought doing a video. He'll no. I had them the first 4 years of Christmas, now I don't even bother doing the Christmas Tree. This is what it is to be a man. Do not imagine being rescued. Rescue yourself.

The only time you can be sure a woman is crying for real is when you stumble upon her crying alone in a room.

"Who do you call when you're at your lowest?" When I've been at my lowest, I didn't call anyone. After 5-6 years of being in depression I actually happen to meet my mother, whom I was seeing once per year or so. She asked me if I was depressed, and if I needed help. And my mother used to be a nurse. And I told her "yes, I think I have depression and I need help because I'm not even able to schedule an appointment with a doctor to take care of it". And then... I met my mom a couple of years later. So that was about 6 months before I managed to schedule an appointment by myself. Mentioning it now, it reminds me of that time I took the train from Belgium to France (my mother's place), and was scheduled to arrive around midnight. She had told me she'd come pick me at the train station, which is 12km (7.5 miles) from her place. And when I got there, there was nobody. After waiting for 20 minutes, I turned on my mobile, which was very costly back then. And I had a voicemail saying that in fact she was tired and I (with my modest salary as a 25yo) should get a cab. I walked all the way home, to encounter a locked door, with the key still in the keyfob, at about 2:30am. I was pissed off. Next day I told her that had it been my sister, she would never had treated her like she treated me. Which was true. And instead of celebrating my birthday with her that evening, which was the central reason for going there that weekend, I went and spent the evening with my friend. So... not to say that my mother is a bad person (though she is. kind of). But that's a difference in how we receive life as a man, compared to what a woman (my sister, for example) would receive in similar circumstances. Still, life has become a whole lot better after I've given up on receiving anything that I had not been actively pursuing.

When I see a crying woman there's a part of me that wants to ask "Where'd all that strength and independence go?" That's not the person I want to be though so I just ignore them instead.

Decades of genuine sympathy for wxmxn's emotions have been outdone by merely watching the Whatever podcast. Now, all the care I used to feel for others I exclusively give to myself.

This is spot on. Men are inspired to courage, strength, solidarity, and so on. I know this is a silly example but it's still relevant. I always do the same thing in a video game, every time there's an enemy attacking my group I always charge to them alone and fought hard to the point I almost died. But my groups were ALWAYS followed me afterwards and attacking (thus killing) the enemies, no matter lame how they play was.

There is only one way to be sure, never help a wmn.

growing up with sisters, I was aware that women will tell any lie and avoid any accountability for anything--even when telling the truth and accepting accountability would benefit them. Also, they will work for MONTHS to avoid one HOUR of work. It is bizarre to a man, but it is the truth.

I was a single father of four. I raised them mostly by myself. I raised them by myself because I wanted to have my children with me. It wasn’t a burden, it was a blessing and I was glad for it.

Through the years I've heard some women say, my husband is home with a "man cold". Implying that he's milking the sniffles when in reality he may be quite sick.

Most men are taught not to be a burden. Putting our issues in someone else's lap creates more hassle for them. This is why men don't like whining. We don't want to do it and we don't like it in others. If you want to make a room full of men get awkward right away; have one adult man start crying. Every man will look anywhere but there. They'll start finding something to focus on other than the adult man breaking down.

I think MOST Moms bake their own birthday cake. Or buy it. The cake is not for them. It's for their kids!

General rule of thumb, if she's crying about her problems publically, run. They are like children, when they are crying its usually not genuine, when they dont look well and look like they want to cry and you have to prod it out, it more genuine. Never in my life have I seen a public cry be for genuine no manipulative reasons. People generally have some embarassment or shame and try to be strong. Ever seen your mother or father crying? Exactly.

Yeah well, when I turned 40 my bday was just me, my very old parents and my sister. At least she has kids.

My girlfriend is great and I'm about to lose my job and she is very supportive. And I often wondered what she sees in me. But the other day it all became clear. I couldn't agree more; if you're surrounded by people who don't care about you then there's nothing left to do than to leave them and live your own life. I did that almost 4 years ago now and I'm better off for it. I don't even want to think where I'll be if I kept trying to make family members Happy who never cared in the first place.

I believe it's not appropriate for her to post those videos, but it's also clear how controlling and manipulative her ex is.

I can attest to this. When I got (serious and prolonged) health issues, my wife acted angry and resentful from day 1. Not only was there zero support for my struggle, she managed to make it even harder for me. Eventually she left with the kids and has no problem dragging me through divorce court to get as much as she can, even though she makes more than me given the situation. It absolutely opened my eyes about the reality of these "beautiful fragile angels" to the extent that I don't see myself getting romantically involved with a woman ever again, provided that I get my full health back in the first place, otherwise it's not even an option.

Had a good laugh when you mentioned women who get mad when he is sick. I don't relent to being ill until I'm truly at Death's door, and my now Ex-wife was always such a see-you-next-Tuesday about it lol

Of course, as a single father of 2 sons & a daughter I know exactly how this responsibility feels weighing upon my shoulders but the parallel satisfaction I feel knowing their internal-selves are free, balanced and permitted to develop naturally, furthermore, in a healthy way so they will develop fortitude to do likewise some day, hopefully not an identical situation yet life comes prepackaged with turmoil and necessary or unnecessary suffering! All one can do, is strive to avoid as much unnecessary suffering, as possible!

Cakes are the easiest things to make , now a cake with frosting would be a bit hard but with the right tools making a simple one would be easy as a cake walk.

It was very hard for my husband to be ok with me taking care of him when he was sick. He had never had anyone do that in his life, he was used to just going off and doing his thing and “not bothering anyone “. Some years ago he had some health issues and a serious surgery with a very hard recovery. I’m so glad he finally let me take care of him fully. I love him and want to take care of him the way he takes care of me. I wish more men had someone to take care of them in a feminine way
