I am so sorry for all what they went through, yet it's not an excuse to traumatise other's, at some point they need to work on themselves and do the dam work before getting in relationships

They just make u suffer all the time they dont want to change very similar to a narcissist

I think they move on more then they come back. They get bored easy, micro cheat during the relationship, and find new partners more exciting. Even when they come back it doesn't last because they have not changed.

So what's the point to try to go back with them. I feel like they are childish and irresponsible. And if they do it once, what tells me they will not do it again? I wonder if i should even try. been 6 months and she is in a rebound completely not making sense but I feel it's a lot of work rather than just move on and find someone more mature.

Knowing this about him (literally word for word him) makes me love and understand him more and helps in no contact and suppresses my protest behaviours. You explain it better than anyone on here 🙏🏻

Your videos are very helpful. This one explains attachment theory very clearly. Thank you.

Please trust me. To hell with an ex returning, irrespective of their attachment style. If they chose to let you go, no matter the reason - Focus not on their returning, instead on your own needs or life. My avoidant has been NC for more than 9 months now. At the end of 8th month he called to let me know that he is gonna get married. I said sure, have a wonderful life and also added a disclaimer to let him know that he rights the wrong and that he doesn't discard his other partner as well. I also congratulated him on his using me for 10 years. They are not the reason for your survival. You are the reason for your survival. 😊 Focus on you and what the universe has to do, it will do in all its elegance. ❤

After 8 months of no contact, why did you even respond back?! He should’ve been blocked. That just means you were waiting for his return. When it’s over, it’s over. By your response, you are still hurt. And I’m not blaming you for your feelings, I’m just saying you were holding on to a sliver of hope that he would come back with a love offer. Lesson learned hopefully!

How to convince them to go to therapy? I made my part. He contact me, and ask me how I am, and tell how he's doing. When I said I understood the brokeup, and I was working to fix my faults. He answered, "it was my fault too, but I'd wish to be able to visit a therapist like you". I don't know what to do.

The descriptions of attatchment styles make me think I used to be secure until the breakup turned me into anxious🤔 btw. What's the song at the end of the video? The voice sounds familiar but I can't put my finger on who it is

I am married to a DA. She has major CPTSD from childhood trauma & 20+ yrs married to a narcissist. We are split up to separate homes now because of all of the chaos. I have stop pursuing her at all on advice of our counselor. Does it make sense to go "no contact" when married?

My DA ex girlfriend after 7 months of dating broke up with me with no reason whatsoever. Her reason was ridicolous and it was just a excuse to leave. I tried to convince her not to do it but i never begged or anything. Finnally i told her if she doesnt want ton be with me she can leave. After 5 weeks of no contact she reached out to me without anything significant. I talk with her like with a buddy. Just few sentences a day. Its just a small talk. She never mentioned anything about us and what happenned. She reached oud to me for days in a row with good morning text. And my question is: what does she want from me???? I am so confused...

Tell her how you feel, seen her face and looks. Say it what you meant to her. My platonic DA wants me say something, I did write down my words and I’m ready to come out.

What about avoidants who lavish passionate love and friendship for weeks then withdraw - then repeat - then withdraw. Then break up? Then return saying sorry. Then passionate amazing relationship again - then break up because they want to be on their own. Then they reach out within a couple of weeks saying they miss you? Red flags? Yes here and there mentions of ‘I need my routine’ ‘need to focus on my children’ ‘im going through difficult time right now’ Are these people avoidants?
@AlexisFriedlander

Yes, that person could be avoidant because that person has a characteristic of an avoidant characteristic.

@@sercollc7908 Or worse... The times my ex would react negatively, he always took it a step further. Never his fault, not even his wrong doings. He could be so mean and so weird. It is always just so tooo hot, then too cold and then he would act like a kid, making cat sounds and just acts like a fat toddler, then after sleep he acts like nothing happened.Talking about it or trying to make it better, when it happens, was a big no no. Hardly got support for my needs, unless he was in a good mood, then he would be lovely. But when i am crying or sick he just gets mad, saying i am too sensitive. And ' Are you down now?1 i hate it when you cry ' But not in a nice way. ots of gaslightning, lot's of weird vibes, itnever made much sense.. Never had a relationship like this before, and i am so mentally drained, traumabonded and often i feel i am just losing my sanity. Lots of unbreaing pain and no answers. Fuck this.
