A question i often find myself asking as of recently whenever I start thinking about men/women dynamics is: Why would you do a thing you wouldn't like be done to you by that one special someone?

I guess it started because he compliment me in how I looked in my outfits. I am very tall, athletic build, busty, but a big waist, so between a big bust and no waist, it is REALLY easy to buy something that makes me look fat when I am not. I do NOT like to shop, especially for myself, and he was always willing to go with me. It was always fun to shop with him because he would playfully push me into a dressing room and kiss on me, discreetly brush up against body parts, you know…🥰 I WANTED to look good to him! I still want to look good for him. When she is wearing something you like, tell her how great she looks in that outfit. What you like about it, how it fits her… My husband likes clothes that accentuate my curves. Maybe spend some time looking at different fashions and clothing to determine what it is that you like. That way, it can at least appear the conversation is more organic than it really is. There is absolutely nothing wrong with your having preferences on how your girlfriend/wife looks! I am not the jealous type, so it would not bother me for my husband to point out another woman’s clothes and say he liked them, but some women would get upset. 🙄So, look for magazine pictures, mannequins at a store, or your own mom or sister’s clothes and say you’d like to see her try those clothes on to see how pretty she’d look in them. Or you could say YOU need help and would she help you find a few outfits that bring out your best features. I think you are better off independently figuring out what styles you like and then, when she mentions needing to buy some clothes, offer to go as a sounding board for her. (Do not offer to “take her shopping.”) Then, casually point out or bring to her dressing room the styles you like. “I think you would look hot in this!” “I think these pants would show off your cute (fill-in-the-blank.)” “What you’re wearing is nice, but this would accentuate your (blank) better.” Maybe after a few months you could actually bring up the subject. “I would love to see you try xyz on because I think it would really flattering your figure.” Something like that, maybe…
