What he’s saying is they took one of the few characters in the comics who actually WAS more of a character with morality and what not as a super, and made him essentially what all the other supers in the comics are. Just bile through and through. Granted it doesn’t bother me personally AS much, but I can still see and imagine why it would bother some people, as his character was more morally interesting and they tossed that away in favour of “racist who likes holes lol”.

In the comic it's A Train who is a victimizer and The Deep who is mostly obsessed with his contract. I don't get why they did all those flips instead of just keeping the characters how they were in the comic.

Yeah ngl, when that door opened and we saw the tek cave, i was so fucking disappointed. I was really hoping to see some computers ,the tek mobile, the power suit on display and other cool shit and yeah, probably a section of the cave dedicated to his sex depravity.

Yup. Tek Knight, except for his weird fetishes, seemed more interesting smart character than Sage. Sage is mostly talk, seldom action. Tek Knight had better character in Gen V than Sage in most of this season.

The problem with the show is how they tell but never show, there are supposedly many supes within this universe but we neve see anyone other than The seven wearing super suits, like I wish they embraced the SUPER part of the series and just have people casually walk around in their super suit, that way we don't have to get crazy action scenes because we already have these characters walking around and doing stuff while actually looking like super heroes rather than business men and women.

Very true, I really like tek knight from the comics so to see him be brought down to such a low especially while in the comics he isn't that bad of a guy sucks...but to have his suit not actually appear just adds salt to the wound.

@@adamH.1 Few things: Despite still having a tumor in his brain that made him get an “urge” to engage with any hole he sees, the show (more specifically The Boys, not Gen V) boiled it down to the tumor just making him generically horny with all sorts of kinks, which somewhat defeated the purpose of the tumor itself. Tek Knight was not actually a bad guy in the comics, yes he still had an urge to fuck any hole but the difference was that the comics wrote him as an addict trying to recover, scared of who he is. They also turned him into a generic rich priveleged boy billionaire trope. Now don’t get me wrong, there’s a lot of ways to do this right and I’m happy that even though they changed him into being a villain they at least made his motivations make sense, since not every character in the boys is 1-1. Hero or villain regardless though, I feel like the spin on Tek Knight’s tumor was somewhat pretty drastic for a change since the entire episode revolved around this key difference.

Imagine if tek knight had a spinoff of his own wearing his suit. I know it could have been budget wise but it would been interesting to have tek knight own a High tech suit without vought knowing
