This was also back when cellphones weren’t as advance as they are now; this was the time text messages weren’t a thing and you got free minutes after 9
Lots of re re s in the comment section the song is about him getting high with someone and how he hates that lifestyle the follow up is him going to rehab and writing their grammy award winning tune and people act surprised Adam is high at a performance? Half the songs are about drug addiction did they think he was lying or something? None of them can probably sing at all either even sober .
there's nothing like 15 year old RU-vid classics coming up in my feed. I founded my account only a few months after this was uploaded haha. Adam Gontier is a hell of a vocalist. I saw them live in 2007 at the Perry fair in Georgia, he didn't disappoint then either.
and what`s your problem ? he was in rehab and now he`s alright...and this concert is really good...adam is just a little funny, that`s all...you`d have to respect him for passing those terrible moments..it`s not easy, you know? he had the power to beat the pain and now he`s ok...there are not many people able to do this...he`s a model in life for me! i hope you`ll understand :)
Something like one in four north americans has a substance abuse problem so Adam was honest and got himself some help which is probably more than lots of others are willing to do. Oxy is highly addictive and doctors prescribe it all the time. We knew another guy in high school was hooked on them and overdosed about 3 years ago so it's no laughing matter.
Essa música me faz voltar totalmente à minha adolescência. Ouvia muito essa e tantas outras bandas de Rock na rádio, Jovem Pam, e também no extinto canal aberto da MTV, canal 18, quando os programas, como Top 10 MTV ainda eram transmitidos. As melhores músicas, melhores recordações.
I remember my brothers used to listen to this song and similar music. Metal, rock, etc. I feel so much nostalgia when listening to this song. My brothers are partially responsible for the type of music I’m into these days. Even if we’re not close anymore, I’ll always care for them
Adam was addicted to painkillers, so he wouldn't have been jumping all over the place. He just seems a little delayed or slow when he speaks in the beginning, it's very noticeable before other songs during the concert. Another symptom is slower breathing, or being more out of breath and feeling drowsy. These aren't necessarily because of his addiction, could be one too many beers or just being nervous and this is also the last song of their set.
Yeah it did not seem to interfere with his performance abilities I don't know how guess he just got used to it. Maybe rock n roll is just one of those professions where drug addiction does not matter almost expected and is accepted so long as you don't wreak the gig.
the amount of times this song fucking saved me. this band in general. since i was like 8 or 9 years old i' ve been listening to this band. it got me through so much, even to this day it helps me with shitty things i go through. one of my comfort bands . I wish they knew how much they have done for me . saved my life
