Another round of beta testing Tier 11 Delves - this time it's Earthcrawl Mines!
The run was pretty smooth until game decides to throw a curve ball...

If you read Brann's abilities, you can get a lot of support from him. I play healers (with Brann as DPS), so it's rougher for us, but I still cleared Tier 11s. CCing a mob gets Brann to CC fear, using a big CD gets Brann to do fly and do big damage for 10 seconds, dragging mobs into the traps can do a lot of damage, etc. Brann's trinkets are actually pretty strong as well.

Oh interesting! I was kinda relying on my own strength, cos you never know how well the devs will tune him. What traps do you mean? I feel like I am missing crucial parts of the Delves!

Hi! What are the reweards like? Is the iLvl any good? Will this be a good route for gearing alts for example? I don't really like the catch up systems of today I'd much rather play the toon that I'm trying to get gear for. and I also don't really like waiting on queue for 10-15 minutes for a normal/heroic dungeon to pop up if you don't play tank or healer.

Yes exactly! Blizzard are attempting to create a viable solo content, and the best thing you can just keep doing the same delve until you feel done. Rewards are not bad! Highest is normal raid track from drops and vault can give you heroic I believe! I will make a video soon on rewards.

Hello, when you were waiting I noticed the big mob begun to lose health (and heal back up) and it looked like to me that mining carts were doing damage to him, so maybe if you keep them on tracks and have them hit by carts would help?

Ahh! Nice spot. I could have mantioned that :D I think it didn't come into play because once I strenghtened that last earhen the mine carts stopped coming. But it would have been great help when I was kiting it back up! Unless... you think we can pull the whole pack before doing the last objective and kite the mobs through the cart tracks? I should really test and get back on this!!! thank you for suggestions :)

Yeah... now that I think about it maybe the title should be "tier 11 delves are challenging and it's a GOOD thing" ?

@@deiSetoI thought the tiers above 8 were supposed to be like challenge modes, since they don’t offer any higher gear. The 13th delve was explicitly supposed to be hard for the best players, so I imagine 11 was going to also be hard.

tier 8 are designed for the average player above that is simply achievement so this is not supposed to be for the average player whatever that means

You are absolutely right! Running these delves on beta definitely confirms that 😹 But as a casual player myself I will still be aiming for those achievements :) and it's good that they are challenging. My only ask is for Blizzard to keep tuning them and making sure there are no "impossible" packs that you'd have to wait for more gear before completing. I want that option of "play better = win"

Trust me, nothing is difficult in World of Warcraft anymore. Game is literally for casual players and if it's too hard it gets adjusted for the 40 year old dads.

I mean, took me a few tries and I still haven't completed all delves. Well it's beta so its ok. And I'm happy they cater for 40year olds - time flies :D

but they arent made for average player. 99% of the game is made for average ( or below). this is part of the 1%

Well, sort of, just being a casual player doesn't mean I don't want a challenge. It's very clear this content is aimed for people with less time and desire (or just like to play solo) to push m+ yet want a fun and challenging dungeon like experience in WoW.
