@@marquezvanroeschen5340 Each layer is flash cured(backed untill tack-free) then the next layer is applied. fully cured Cerakote does not stick to itself and will look good at first and then flake off.
Tack free is when the paint is cured enough to touch or mask without damaging it. In my oven I bake it for 10-15 minutes at 180F. After all of the paint is done I'll turn the oven up to 300 for a full cure I usually let the multi color jobs bake longer because the extra thickness of the coating.
That's my favorite one yet!! I saw the yellow of the stencils just before you started pulling them off, and wondered how an "autumn" color scheme would look in that same pattern??
Really like the tiger stripes stencil you made. Any chance you're ready to sell it digitally yet? I'd love to buy the file for personal use only of course.
I make them myself with a silhouette cameo plotter and their software. It's a little time consuming making the stencils the first time, but once you have the pattern I can scale them or mirror them as needed in seconds.
