1 kilo Rib eye steak
50g Herbs
50g butter
Olive oil
Salt & Pepper
Tip #1 : Do not touch or move the steak while it’s searing, let the pan do the job!
Tip #2 : Season the steak well because in the cooking process you will lose at least 30 percent of your seasoning.
Tip #3 : Make sure your pan is very hot before searing your steak, or else you will have a boiled meat.
Tip #3 : Rest, rest, rest! The steak needs to be rested after the searing as it’s still in the process of relaxing the meat. This will make the steak tender.
Tip #4 : Do not forget to baste it with lota of butter and herbs, it will intensify the taste of the steak.
Tip #5 : Before cooking the steak, take it our from the fridge an hour before, it should not be cold or else it will affect the doneness of your steak.
