Tips on regrowing a successful lettuce | What your doing wrong! 

Thank you. most of the videos show putting it in water but never about how much water or rotting leaves. I always wonder why mine didn't grow. Yours explained beautifully.

I take some toilet paper, wet it, place my little lettuce bud on it over night. the next day it turns an orange where the part was wet. I then plant it directly into the soil & in a few days - Voilaaaaa!!

Great tips! how much of the lettuce do u recommend touching the water?

This was extremely helpful! I've been testing out methods for the first time, I couldn't believe it started growing in water with no soil. When do you end up transferring the lettuce to soil? Also, I bought some grow lights, there's 3 light settings on them, do you know which ones I should be using & at what stages to turn the lights from (redish-purple, warm, and white)?

Hi I've been trying to regrow lettuce but today when I was trying to change the water the bottom of my lettuce what's completely like moldy it's just like came off it was mushy and there's like a little hole on the bottom of it now should I throw it away

they are rotting because you are leaving them In water too long you only need to leave them in the water for a day or two then put in soil
