+Green Lantern Davae Pedrosa You don't have to agree with Kaepernick and you can express it but you can't criticize him for using his right to protest peacefully and that's what people don't understand. Saying "I don't agree" doesn't mean that you criticize someone, you are using you right to not agree, but saying that you use free speech to say for example that he can't kneel during the national anthem, criticize his gesture and say that he should stand is stepping over someone rights. Him kneeling didn't step over your rights, criticizing him for kneeling did step over Kaepernick's rights, his right to protest peacefully whatever his beliefs. You may not agree with him but you can't question it.

What Brady said is true, just because you are friends with someone doesn't mean you are going to agree with everything he said. But what Whitlock and Mangini said is also true, you aren't going to cut off people just because you disagree with them on politics. If you do, then there's more to it than just politics

Marco Clarke usually racist people are friends with other racist people. Basically what Chris Carter said was you can be my friend but if certain things come out that he doesn't agree with like ethics or beliefs than the friendship is dissolved. At the very least Brady doesn't have issues being friends with a White supremacist. That is a bad look and suspect.

Marco Clarke I am not a Hillary supporter either. She had her issues especially with the Super Predator comment and the unfair prison sentencing she helped to put into place when Bill was president. So she was a very flawed candidate and had issues she needed to answer for as well.

I applaud Tom Brady for standing by President Trump, who I also voted for. I believe this issue with Trump and the media, "Hampton elites", etc, is spiritual in nature, not necessarily political. Trump's spiritual life has no doubt been influenced and challenged during the process of running for President. I believe the Lord has been changing his heart to stand for Christian values. His VP Michael Pence is also a strong believer in the Lord Jesus. This is the real root of the "controversy" with those that reject the Lord Jesus and Biblical values.

Nathan Smith First, I looked up the definition of xenophobic, which is defined as "A person unduly fearful or contemptuous of strangers or foreigners". I believe President Trump wants illegal aliens to be held accountable and go through legal processes. That's adhering to the legal system, not "xenophobic". Second, if your every thought, spoken word, or action were displayed for the whole world to see, would you be ashamed of a few things? I would too. Third, does President Trump control every group or organization that is for or against him? Those people, not Trump, are accountable to the Lord for any bigotry or racism. And "racist, lying coward that ducked the draft" sounds like a personal opinion and attack of his character. Every person that calls upon the Lord is a work in progress.

As a GIANTS fan...a conservative etc...Never loved Brady per say but respected him as a hall of fame player and just being that good....props to him for being non social media about it and in your face and a Trump supporter....Trump 2020... Trump is a polarizing personality but he appears to be very loyal. That can be problematic for Tom bc of their association. But TB's reputation is so pristine that it prob won't. Also winning covers a multitude of sins. I do think it's interesting that their association sheds a pos light on DJT & not the other way around.

Fast forward to now (2019) and blacks are supporting Trump by almost 30% by some estimates. I'm a Brady fan and I think he should have given President Obama the respect by going to meet him. As far as Rush Limbaugh is concerned, I'm pretty sure that there are a huge amount of pro athletes that subscribe to what he is saying now that they are making some serious jack. This is all too much for me since I watch sports to escape the politics for three hours.

Whitlock....just another person telling on themselves. You don't get to critique how someone else protests. Brady's positioning of the hat in his locker is his political statement, and people have the right to call him on it. But to say it amounts to the same as a protest against police brutality and racial injustice is ignorant and a disservice to all the people out there losing their lives unjustly to police violence AND citizen on citizen violence.
