You missed one big thing about Aldrachi Warblades. You got massive healing from it not just from the hero power, but also from the attack synergy cards. Soul Fragment DH had a card that gave them +5 attack, Twin Slice could give +4, Stiltstepper gave +4 attack and drew a card, and there's that card that gives Immune and +4. Aggro Demon Hunter was so dominant for so long because it output tonnes of damage to make it a viable aggro class, but all of that damage could be used for healing (without losing anything, I might add), making it beat every other aggro class by default. Those were dark times.
Top 10 cards from every expansion would be a nice trip down memory lane, also taking into account the ones that stood the test of time and are still highly played in wild
I almost had a heart attack when I saw ziliax that low. For nearly as long as he was in standard. Ziliax was the card most included in decks. (actually not the most played card, since you can only include one in your deck, so non-legendary cards are generally more played, since you can play more than one per game (even without discover or copying effect)). also if you are to include unnerfed aldrachi warblades, you should include unnerfed eyebeam, as that card was straight broken and was part of possibly the most powerful deck of all time, beeing unnerfed tempo/aggro dh.
I dont know about number 1, it isn't about healing but more on insane damage towards your opponent. even the 2 shots of 3 lifesteal to your opponent doesn't compare to reno or other cards on the list when the warlock needs to take 24 damage in the game. The reason why the quest works out so well is all the other insane healing cards warlock has since stormwind. Tbh, demon seed is not a healing card but the deck that is it in is all insane healing and removal.
I’m surprised Dark Pact wasn’t mentioned. Pre-nerf Dark Pact has to have been one of the most efficient heals in the game, and the fact that it had crazy synergy with everything Cubelock was trying to do is just gravy.
I have always thought that if they changed Tamsin to read, "Any damage you take from your own CARDS gets dealt to your opponent instead", its would solve alot of problems. That way you cant just fatigue to win, you actually have to run self damaging cards to get there. Does it kill the card... maybe. But i think considering what it can do, it being borderline useless is more than fine.
What about top 10 most unique effects in hearthstone. The top card i can think of would be Zephrys the Great since he can literally give you the perfect card basing his choice in the board state, your hand, your life points and your opponents life points. A card like this couldn't exist in any other game and there are others that could make for an interesting list like Elwynn Boar, Kazakus, etc.
Ι remember watching your yugioh videos of your other channel but I don't play yugioh that much nowadays and only play hearthstone. And now I discovered this channel 👌amazing
2 ways to nerf tamsin either add "this effect does not apply to fatigue damage" or do what mtg did and make a distinction between "damage" and "loss of life" and change fatigue to be loss of life (removes armor b4 health)
Good video. Ever so slightly disappointed that you didn't make a pun or ironic statement about how Antique Healbot has kind of lived up to it's namesake lol. It's an antique now
Love your other channels, even though I don't play Yugioh at all or WoW anymore. Hope this channel takes off as well, since this time I actually play the game.
If the problem with Demon Seed in wild was fatigue damage, why doesn't Blizzard just change Tamsin's effect to exclude fatigue damage rather than ban it?
They tend to avoid conditions/exclusions/etc. to keep card text simple. They could heavily restrict Tamsin by specifying "damage from your Warlock cards" (Note: "Card effects" is not an established term similar to "enchantments" which they rarely mention.) but even this limits design space (which they also try to avoid) in that Warlock could never have access to something like High Priest Thekal who converts all but 1 Health to Armor.
@@TinyZu Thekal would be fine since it doesn't actually damage you. It directly converts health, like Alexstrasza and Amara. Crystallizer is a problem because it actually deals 5 damage to you for free.
if the demon seed wasnt that broken that literally create a ban list i would have feel so angry because reno wasnt #1 yeah that quest was broken since day 1 and everyone missed it i opened in my first pack tried and 2 hrs later i was legend and i started in silver and was playing i really crappy version of the deck
Video idea: Top 10 cards with special animated effects. Example being Twisting Nether. Although it might be a boring or short video bc you're just explaining effects not strategies
I'm surprised that greater healing potion wasn't on the list, a 4 mana priest spell that restores 12 health to any friendly character still sees a ton of play in wild.
Some of My predictions: Bloodreaver gul’dan Zilliax Reno Jackson Alexstrasza Alexstrasza the life-binder Frost lich Jaina penance Amber watcher Obsidian Statue The demon seed
Surprised you didn't mention the offensive side of mistress of mixtures. Combined with zombie chow and the "your healing now deals danage instead" card for some weird priest decks
since you seem to know a lot about the game, it would be very fun to have a Best decks series that goes over the dominant decks over time, how they played and why they got in and out of the meta
