When the icejade cards came out, I noticed tremora can summon any water monster from hand, and I used this to play coelacanth. If you have a way to bring coelacanth out, you end on a 3 mat apollousa (4 before halq was banned), borrelsavage, double toad and utopic draco future. And that's just one end board, if your opponent doesnt have any hand traps, I wish this deck was good lol.

As per usual, Rekindling is number 1. But I ain't gonna lie. Rekindling and Snake Rain are so strong in their effects, they can end up being busted if Konami fails to balance the cards around them. There's a reason why Ogdoadic really held back a lot. The last thing it wants is to turn Snake Rain into a busted card in that deck.

I’m a huge synchro enjoyer that just recently started playing again and Junke speeder is on of my favorite cards lol. Even though he’s super prone to disruption, just a junk synchron and converter can win a game. So far my favorite boss to end on is Supernova dragon. I know there are other combos out there so I’m gonna have to experiment. Just glad I’m having fun with casual YGO again

Abyss Script: Abysstainment is also a pretty good card that can summon any number of Abyss Actors from deck when destroyed by an opponent's card effect while it is set. This can be triggered in multiple ways in the archetype.

With the advent of link monsters both morphing jars and cyber jar would be do useful in being able to generate the resources for creating link 2 plus monsters or easy xyz monsters.

I like that the Junk Speeder segment is mostly about how most of the time it dies everytime as much as possible to any handtrap in existence. It will never escape being offed by any means, even with the new support it still wont matter since resolving Junk Speeder is a must, nevermind it also dies when Junk Synchrom gets negated or blown up.

I mean...from my experience playing fish otk back in the day, the original strat was dark strike fighter until it got banned. Then it kinda coasted until the ol' vanilla level 7 scrap archfiend came out with just enough attack to combo with mistwurm and coelacanth for 8000. Also, big wave small wave was definitely the best way to get him on field.

Back in the day, someone at my locals used to play Fish OTK all the time but used to run Mausoleum of the Emperor and Star Blast as rasy ways to get Superancient Deepsea King out

I love that Xyz Encore was ruled to actually affect the materials to Xyz monsters rather than the monster itself, literally just so that you can use it to out Rongo and other cards like it. That is peak schoolyard shenanigan levels of rule-bending.

If you're looking for ideas, I'd say you do a list Jaden Yuki's best or important cards or Joey Wheeler's best or most important cards. There's also something you might have done or not, but overkill yugioh moments in the anime.

I've seen Zealantis be used in a FTK with Morphtronic Telefon, Rescue Ferret and Tri-Brigades. The idea is using Tri-Brigades to get Ferret, then use Ferret to get 2 Telefons and Canon Solider from the deck with their effects negates, the turn Shuraig into Zealantis and reseting the Telefons and Canon Soldier out of being negated.

Rekindling is sooo good can't wait to use it with the new fire king support

One card I really like is Hero Kid. It says it can summon as many Hero Kids as possible from the deck, but of course you can only run 3 of it in any deck. It's pretty great to use with Isolde in an infernoble deck. I use marauding captain too to trigger any Hero Kids I end up drawing, and it gets an extra warrior on the field with Sublimation Knight/Squeaknight. A pretty standard combo to go into with this is normal summon Sublimation Knight, equip and then summon squeaknight, then go into isolde and send 2 equip spells to the grave to summon Hero Kid, and then go into an I:P Masquerena and then Crusadia Avramax. It's a pretty nice one-card combo for a deck that I never really see played. There are even more options now though with mikanko. Renaud, Ha-Re the Sword Mikanko, and some of the mikanko equip cards can do some pretty fun stuff

Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth sees some amount of play as a one of in Ghoti Decks to bring out a lot of monsters and Synchro them away with Shif as a primary target because it can use its effect to banish itself from the Graveyard in order to resummon in the Standby Phase.

In modernity, Cyber jar can be more broken: if a player summons a monster that does not have effect destruction protection by some means while it's face up on the field, it will be accosted by cyber jar, if however a player who uses cyber jar had summoned a link monster for example; using the effect or by hard using I:p masquerena as material that monster would be safe as it CANNOT be destroyed by card effects while on the field. Meaning cyber jar could be used in a number of decks as an extender nowadays rather than interrupting plays. This means cyber jar generates many new fusion/Synchro/Xyz/link materials to replace itself and anything non monster will refill the depleted hands of both players.

You should do a top 10 levels/ranks that have the most monsters of the same type. For example counting all level 4 warrior monsters, level 3 fiend, and so on. It’d be a helluva lot of work but it’d be interesting tbh

Junk Speeder is literally the most ridiculous one of these cards when you actually play against it. If you don't have Ash or another negate, they will have an end board consisting of Shooting Quasar Dragon, Cosmic Blazaar Dragon, Baronne, Herald of the Arc Light, Clear Wing Synchro Dragon, and 1 other- usually 6 negates. They can straight up just negate every card you activate and even if you somehow get past all the Omni-negates, you have 2+ monsters with 4000 attack/def that you then need to take down. Insanity. Konami pls

Another honorable mention is Wattrain, the only way to make a pure Watt deck work. I once used it to beat a deck I really shouldn't have been able to.

One day I will get a chance to make my own official card and it will be a dark counterpart to Coelacanth. Just straight up replacing any mention of fish-type monster on it's effect with DARK monster. It will be banned on release and it will be so fun.

I should just craft Zelantis for my Marincess deck in Master Duel even though the deck does fine without it; I've got the points for it. Only problem with it as a going second card is that I'm lucky if I can play the game at all if I go second most of the time.

Bro in modern days just off Paces normal, you can summon Deepsea from hand and make 2 level 10 synchros while drawing back to 5 cards 😂 The 4 you summon- Fishborg Launcher, Greethys, Lifeless Leafish, and any other level 4 (usually Silent Angler). First synch greethys and Leafish into White Aura Monoceros, effect to resummmon Greethys, Greethys to resummon Leafish. Free level 7 synch without losing anything yet. Next synch launcher, leafish and Angler into Crocodragon Archethys, draw 2. Launcher effect to resummon itself. Use Greethys and Monoceros and you can make a level 10, usually either Baronne, swordsoul grandmaster or the level 10 Icejade. You can now either make Dragite with Coelacanth and Launcher which keeps Archethys for additional interaction, or summon another of the 3 level 10 synchros I mentioned above with Archethys and Launcher. Once you do that, Activate Leafish' graveyard effect and you draw back to 5. Bonus points if you draw into something like Abyss Shark which can add a Stealth Kragen to your board at the end 😂

While entirely dependant on you opponent setting a lot of spells, Magical Musketeer Max lets you special summon up to 5 monsters from the deck.
