Prior to taking Collagen, I had diarrhea once a week. I watched Doctor Axe talk about collagen. I have been on it for one year. A few months after taking Collagen, I stopped having diarrhea. Thank you, Josh!
Great video. Given that your gut microbiome impacts everything (as we explore in-depth in our gut health guide), regardless of whether your illness has any gut-related symptoms. from your immune system to your skin to your brain function to your digestion, and even your mood and mental health, it’s so important to eat foods that are beneficial for it. 🙏
Thank you so much for this video, Dr. Axe. I have Barrett’s esophagus and after 18 months it hasn’t improved with conventional medicine. I am trying a different approach with limited diet and natural products like DGL licorice, coconut oil and manuka honey. I learned a tremendous amount from this video! Thanks again.
My gut health is up and down I use to eat spicy junk food. Diarrhea is horrible that's bad bacteria which causes health issues. I love probiotics like yogurt and juice that helped me. I grew up with a lot of stomach problems
Please also remind people to check for Celiac Disease if they are having symptoms, to include fatigue, mood and neurological changes. To identify the root cause of their symptoms, and treat the root cause, and the symptoms.
How long does it take to heal the gut if you avoid the foods mentioned like wheat , sugar, dairy ect... and doing what is said as far as the 7 foods that help?
Dr Axe, I have tried to eat just cooked vegetables and meats and the problem I end up having is I never get enough fiber on that diet. Do you have any tips and tricks for that??
Thanks for all your information. You've shared with us. I'm interested in your product to Lose Weight. What do you have to help? I've been going to the gym 5 times a week.
Dr Axe, im confused which is actually the number 1 herbs for our gut health ? sometimes you say Astralagus and other times u say Ginger.... I am HelicoBacter Pylori positive, and i think i have stomach ulcer, altho i dont have any gut pain, but i have many other annoying symptoms, chills and severe discomfort like im coming down with a severe fever after food, Acne, losing weight, constipation and loose stool .... So frustrating, i also found out tht my main trigger food is EGGS ??!! i love eggs, i use them to gain muscle mass when i work out, but unfortunately i cant consume it now, apparently the H Pylori bacteria love eggs as well, wat a bummer .... but thanks to your video i have an idea of what to do. Oh, i did buy some of your products, i love them thanks so much !
I take the beef bone broth because it has minerals Unless you have cancer I have read that you cannot take this one but it definitely starts working in 2 weeks. your collagen peptides 1 through 10 works in 2 weeks
Nice foundational tips for a healthy gut. If someone does these things, gives it a couple months, and continues to struggle with issues, consider looking into functional nutrition and finding a FN dietitian to work with to further explore possible root causes and solutions!
Hi Dr. Ash. I've watched you and Jordan for a long time. About 3 or so years ago I was having terrible gut problems, even had to go to the ER. So instead of going on meds that the doc wanted to put me on, I started researching. That was about 3 years ago now and I found Paleo. It helped me so much and actually healed my stomach. And so much of that way of eating is very close to what you've just outlined in this video. So........ getting to the point, we've moved into KETO, and my question is do you not agree with the KETO plan? I know you both are so into nutrition and that food can heal..So I am very curious how you feel about Keto. ??? Thanks
Hey there! Thank you so much for your kind words and support. First, I highly recommend you talk to your local healthcare practitioner prior to making any major changes to your diet. You want to make sure you're on the right track for your unique health needs. You can learn more about the keto diet here: draxe.com/diets/guide-to-keto-diet-for-beginners/?.
Thank you again for another great video that's insightful, actionable and helpful.. It's great to have someone like you giving great advice and not some other RU-vidrs that just have a taster video/sales promo then you got to pay a lot for. Thank you again
@@drjoshaxe you're welcome.. Due to health reasons (ear/balance issues.,belly issues, ibs, possible acid reflux and anxiety and that leading to depression as been going on for months now (anxiety & ibs years).. I in not working at mo (plus can't at mo, signed off by ear specialist).. I don't have much money so are there things I cab do on a budget? Thank you
Raw honey raw milk raw cheese raw butter etc are arguably the healthiest and most nutritious foods to consume. Don't listen to people who say they are unsafe because of bacteria. As long as the source is well maintained and regulated it's safe. How did humans survive centuries with these foods.
If you have gut challenges, I usually suggest starting with the low FODMAP fruits, which include blueberries, raspberries, kiwis, citrus fruit, and cantloupe.
Avoid high sugar as in sweets or as in avoid a diet high in carbohydrates in general? What about fruits? I like grapes, figs dates, bananas and apples, can I continue to eat them? Really struggling with health issues atm. Thanks for any answer
I’m so confused with coconut Oil. So information online say that you should not use it for heating and frying food ? That in fact it’s not healthy ... I don’t know anymore
I have chosen to trust you 2 guys by buying your products. I wish I could understand why when so many with gut issues also have milk issues, why you'd have milk in your Trinity supplements!😢
